Private Jet Shuttle: Chauffeured Car Service to FBOs and Private Terminals

The car is at the operator’s door before the stairs come down.

Charter and private aviation happens away from the airline buildings, at a fixed base operator on its own road. Executive Transportation drives that side: the passengers to wherever the day is, the crew to a bed, and the cases as far onto the ramp as the operator allows.

What it is

What a private jet shuttle is, and what comes with it

A private jet shuttle is a chauffeured ground transfer arranged around a private or charter flight instead of an airline seat: the vehicle meets the aircraft at the operator it parks at, and the booking carries a tail number where a flight number would go.

Where the chauffeur actually waits

General aviation is a separate building on a separate road, so the chauffeur waits at the FBO door rather than the airline terminal. Where the operator allows a car onto the ramp, the cases go from the hold straight into the trunk. Where they do not, the bags move at the FBO door.

The tail number does the work a flight number does

Send the operator, the registration and the hour the crew gave you, then call dispatch if the slot moves. A person answers at three in the morning as readily as three in the afternoon, and the chauffeur is told before you land.

One quote, and both ends of one arrival

A charter usually splits at the stairs: the passengers have a meeting and the crew has a hotel. One reservation covers both destinations, and the figure is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so a full cabin shares it.

Every operator named on this page is copied from the airport page that verified it on that airport’s own general aviation listing in September 2026, with the check date printed there. Operators move and change hands, so confirm the building with your charter company before the day.

Private jets and charter

Private jet terminals and FBOs we collect from

These are the buildings a charter passenger really walks out of. Each operator below is named on its own airport’s general aviation listing, with the check date on that airport page.

  • 01

We collect at the FBO, never at a terminal

General aviation sits on its own road with its own lobby, and that lobby is where the vehicle waits.

  • 02

Plane side where the operator allows it

Some fixed base operators walk a car out to the aircraft and some never do. We ask.

  • 03

Crews and passengers on one reservation

An arrival that splits at the stairs is still one booking, so nobody waits for a second car.

  • 04

A Sprinter or a coach for a full cabin

Fourteen seats with hard cases and a standing aisle, and a coach for anything past that.

Why be driven

How a private jet shuttle is quoted

There is no rate card on this site and no meter in the vehicle. The vehicle and the chauffeur are quoted by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, which suits a trip whose hour belongs to a flight crew.

By the hour, with the minimum up front

The hours the run takes decide the figure, and the minimum is in the written quote before the vehicle moves.

The vehicle is quoted once

A cabin of six shares a single quote, and the crew leg beside it is quoted the same way.

What sets the hours

Distance, the size of the vehicle, the hour the crew gave you, and any second address on the way.

How to book it

Call dispatch or send the form with the operator and the tail number on it. Seventy-two hours is the notice we like, and anything shorter depends on what is free.

The fleet

Which vehicle meets the aircraft

Hard cases decide this more often than headcount does, because golf bags and ski tubes take the room four suitcases would.

Parties of eight to ten take the stretch limousine. A uniformed chauffeur comes with each of them.

Where we serve it

Private terminals we drive to most

Eight fields carry most of the charter work: four in the Chicago area, three around St. Louis, and the Springfield field. Every card opens the page for that field.

Six more fields with a verified operator sit in the directory above, and every airport with a page of its own is on the airports hub.

Whichever gate the aircraft parks behind, the booking works the same way.

What riders say

Riders on the charter side

Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute.

Meghan ForesmanRider review

The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.

Parris Smith · Rider review

Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

Jen DeJong · Rider review

An office that arranges the ground half for somebody else usually wants the billing and the recurring runs in one place, which is corporate airport transfers.

Executives held between meetings keep the vehicle and the chauffeur through the day on an hourly booking instead.

Private aviation questions

What charter passengers and flight crews ask first

The answers below hold at every field in the directory above.

What is a private jet shuttle?

A private jet shuttle is a chauffeured ground transfer arranged around a private or charter flight rather than an airline seat. Executive Transportation meets the aircraft at the fixed base operator it parks at and books the run against the operator and the tail number.

Send the flight or call (217) 523-5466.

Where does the chauffeur meet a private flight?

At the FBO door rather than the airline terminal. General aviation has its own building on its own road, so the chauffeur waits at that lobby, and where the operator allows a car onto the ramp it comes to the aircraft instead.

The directory above names every operator, field by field.

What do you need from me to book one?

Four things: the operator or FBO name, the tail number, the scheduled time the crew gave you, and the address at the other end. Headcount and hard cases decide which vehicle comes. Call dispatch if the crew moves the slot.

Dispatch is at (217) 523-5466, any hour.

Do you drive flight crews?

Yes, and crew positioning is ordinary work here rather than a favor. Hotel to the aircraft for an early show time, aircraft to the hotel after a late leg, and the passengers on the same reservation when both are wanted.

See scheduled shuttles for repeating crew runs.

Can you do a late night or early positioning run?

Yes. Dispatch is answered by a person 24 hours a day, and a departure before dawn is the ordinary shape of charter work rather than an exception. Book as far ahead as you can, because the earliest hours fill first.

Call (217) 523-5466 with the show time.

Which vehicle for six passengers with luggage?

A luxury SUV takes five with the rear row folded for hard cases, or six with cabin bags, and a Sprinter van takes fourteen with a luggage bay and a standing aisle. Six passengers carrying golf bags or ski tubes usually ride the Sprinter.

Compare the full fleet by capacity.

How is a private jet shuttle priced?

Executive Transportation quotes the vehicle and the chauffeur by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, rather than publishing a rate. The hours the run takes, the size of the vehicle and the hour of the pickup set the figure. One quote covers the whole vehicle.

Request a Quote or call (217) 523-5466.

Do you arrange the aircraft as well?

No. Executive Transportation is a ground transportation company: we drive to the aircraft, we do not charter it. Your broker or operator files the flight and names the FBO, and we take over at that door. The operator names we hold are printed on the airport pages.

Start at the airports hub for the field you are flying into.

Three things charter callers tell us made the difference.

  • The vehicle is at the door, not the terminal

A charter passenger should not be walking a concourse they were never booked through.

  • Both ends of one arrival, on one booking

An arrival that splits at the stairs is a single booking, so nobody waits for a second car.

  • Somebody answers at four in the morning

Show times and slots move at hours a form cannot handle, and dispatch is staffed for them.
