Concert & Sporting Event Transportation and Group Car Service
The seats are the easy part. Fourteen people leaving at the same time is the hard part.
Event transportation is one chauffeured vehicle booked for a group and a venue: everyone leaves from one address, is set down where that venue lets a vehicle stand, and is collected afterwards at a spot agreed before the doors open. Groups of five and groups of thirty-five book it.

What is included
What event transportation with Executive Transportation includes
An event booking is two runs and a wait in the middle. What you are paying for is that the same vehicle and the same chauffeur handle both ends, so nobody is bidding for a ride at eleven at night.
One vehicle for the whole group
Five colleagues take an SUV, fourteen take a Sprinter van, thirty-five take a shuttle coach. Everyone hears the same departure time, and nobody is left following in a second car with a phone in their hand.
Set down where the venue allows
Large arenas route chauffeured vehicles to a named entrance rather than the ticket doors, and a fair site locates everything by gate number. A coordinator settles that entrance with you before the date rather than on the night.
Collected at a point you already know
The return time and the pickup point go on the reservation, and the chauffeur is where the plan says at the hour the plan says. That is the difference between a booking and a line.
Venue entrances, gates and lots change between seasons, so confirm the ones your venue publishes before the date. The blog carries dated walk-throughs for the Springfield venues, and each city page lists the pickup points around it.
How an event night goes
Out to the venue, and the part after the encore
The run in is simple and everyone plans it. The run out is the one that decides whether the evening ended well, and it is the half worth booking.
Before the event
Everyone leaves from one address
- Give the venue and the start timeThe departure hour is worked back from doors and the drive, not guessed at. It goes on the reservation so nobody argues about it in a parking lot.
- One pickup address, one headcountAn office, a hotel lobby or a house. Collecting at four addresses is possible and it is also what makes a group late.
- Into the vehicle, not four carsFourteen riders in a Sprinter van arrive together. Four cars arrive across twenty minutes and park in three different lots.
- Set down at the entrance the venue namesArenas and fairgrounds route chauffeured vehicles to their own gate or lane. Your chauffeur confirms which one on the way in.
After the event
The pickup nobody has to negotiate
- The pickup spot was settled beforehandTwenty thousand people leave an arena at once and every phone is trying to do the same thing. A named corner beats a live negotiation.
- The return hour is on the bookingTell a coordinator whether you are leaving at the final whistle or after the crowd thins. The vehicle is held for the hours you booked.
- A late change goes through dispatchOvertime, an encore or a rain delay is a phone call, and somebody answers at midnight as readily as at noon.
- Home, hotel or officeSame vehicle, same chauffeur, the address you gave. Nobody is splitting an app fare in a lobby afterwards.
Who books this
Who books a vehicle for an event
Three kinds of booking fill the event calendar. One wants the evening to be simple, one wants the client looked after, and one is moving more people than a parking lot can absorb.

Why be driven
How an event quote is built
Nothing on this site carries a posted rate, because an evening at a fairground and an evening at an arena two hours away are not the same job. The vehicle is quoted by the hour, with the minimum stated up front.
One quote, divided by the group
The vehicle is quoted once. Fourteen riders divide one figure, which is the arithmetic that makes a van cheaper than fourteen separate rides.
The hours you hold it
An event booking holds the vehicle from the departure until the return, so a long night costs more than a short one and nothing is added later.
What sets the hours
Distance to the venue, the size of the vehicle, the hour you come back, and any extra stop such as dinner before the doors.
How to book it
Send the date, the venue and the headcount, or call dispatch. Big dates go early and short notice depends on what is uncommitted.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
The fleet
Which vehicle for a group going out
Headcount decides this one, and so does the return hour: a coach that waits is still a coach, and a group that splits across two vehicles pays for two.

Cities and venues we drive groups to
Eight cities carry most of the event work, and the big nights out of them are usually in St. Louis. Each card opens that city’s own page, where the pickup points are written out.
Busch Stadium and the Enterprise Center in St. Louis are booked from every one of these cities, and so is the Illinois State Fair. The full roster is on the service area hub.
Springfield dates are booked the same way: the BOS Center downtown and the Illinois State Fairgrounds on Sangamon Avenue, where gate numbers locate everything. Both have a dated walk-through on the blog.
If the venue is further than the last card, it is still one booking and one quote.

What riders say
Riders on an event booking
Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute. Executive Transportation was incredibly responsive and was able to secure us a bus quickly.
The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.
Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.
Companies book the same coaches for conferences, client nights and staff outings, with the schedule handled by a coordinator: that is corporate event transportation.
A group flying in for the weekend rides airport transportation at both ends of it.
Event questions
What groups ask before booking a game or a show
These answers hold for any venue. The entrance and the lot rules belong to the venue, so check those on its own page before the date.
How much does transportation to a concert or a game cost?
Executive Transportation quotes an event run by the hour for the whole vehicle, with the minimum stated up front, rather than posting a rate. The drive to the venue, the size of the vehicle, how many hours you hold it and any stop on the way set the figure, which a group of fourteen divides.
Can a group of 14 or 35 split one quote?
Yes, and that is the usual reason a group calls. Nobody buys a seat here: the vehicle is quoted once and the group divides it however it likes. A Sprinter van seats 14 and a shuttle coach seats 22 to 35, so the arithmetic improves as the group grows.
Compare capacities across the full fleet.
Do you drive groups to Busch Stadium and the Enterprise Center?
Yes. St. Louis dates are among the most requested runs on the calendar, from Central Illinois cities and from the towns along the river. The vehicle sets down where the venue routes chauffeured traffic, and collects at the point agreed before the doors open.
Call (217) 523-5466 with your date and headcount.
Where does the chauffeur collect the group after an event?
At a point the two of you settle before the date, because twenty thousand people leaving at once makes a live negotiation useless. The chauffeur names the street or corner, the return hour is on the reservation, and dispatch relays any change on the night.
Dispatch answers at (217) 523-5466 at any hour.
Which vehicle carries 35 people to a concert?
One shuttle coach. Shuttle coaches seat 22 to 35 with forward facing seats, a center aisle and a separate luggage bay, and limousine coaches carry 25 to 30 in a leather cabin. Above 35 the booking becomes two vehicles leaving from the same address.
See the shuttle coach for the layout.
How far in advance should we book for a big event?
As soon as the tickets are in hand for a stadium date or a tour stop, because a region holds a fixed number of coaches and one date can commit most of them. Smaller groups have more room. Dispatch still answers the same week, and short notice depends on availability.
Ask what is open at (217) 523-5466.
Can a company book vehicles for clients or employees?
Yes. Client nights, staff outings and service award evenings are ordinary bookings here, and a coordinator plans the schedule with whoever is organizing it. Several vehicles can run on one reservation when the group is spread across sites, and the invoice follows the booking rather than the riders.
See event transportation.
Is the vehicle shared with anyone else?
No. One group rides per vehicle, the route is your addresses, and nobody else is collected along the way. That is the difference between this and a shuttle service, and it is why the departure time is yours to set rather than a timetable to catch.

Three things groups tell us changed the evening.
Everyone arrives at once
One vehicle means one arrival, not four cars filtering in across twenty minutes and three lots.
The ride home is already booked
The return hour and the collection point are settled before the doors open, so nobody bargains for a ride at midnight.
One figure to divide
The vehicle is quoted once. How the group splits it is the group’s business and not our arithmetic.
