Luxury SUV with a Chauffeur: 5 to 6 Passengers
Booked for the bags about as often as it is booked for the seats.
Five or six riders, a load space that takes checked luggage without anybody holding a case on their knees, and a uniformed chauffeur driving it. Families flying together, four colleagues with sample cases and anybody traveling between November and March pick this one.

The vehicle
The luxury SUV, at a glance
The seat count, who drives, what the vehicle is genuinely better at than a sedan, and how the figure is put together. Anything not on the card is a question for a coordinator.
- Passengers
- 5 to 6Six is a full vehicle. Five leaves the rear row free, which is where most of the luggage ends up on a longer trip.
- Chauffeur
- Uniformed, on every tripThe same driver handles both the door and the tailgate, so nobody in the party lifts a case.

What it is for
Why a booking moves up to the SUV
Four conversations put a party in this vehicle, and in three of them the headcount was never the deciding factor at all.
The luggage outgrew the car
Four travelers with checked bags for a week is not a seating problem; it is a load space problem, and it is the single most common reason a reservation is upgraded before the date.
Somebody is flying with a family
Grandparents, a child seat, a folded stroller and the cases, all collected at a front door instead of being carried across a parking deck in the dark.
The forecast turned
A higher seat and a heavier vehicle are what a party wants on a Central Illinois interstate in February. The chauffeur is the one watching the road while everyone else watches the phone.
A crew and their equipment
Camera cases, sample kits and tools travel behind the last row rather than between passengers, and the party and the gear stay on one reservation.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
Who books it
Who reserves the luxury SUV
Three sorts of booker keep this vehicle busy, and each one arrives at it from a different direction: a pile of luggage, a forecast, or a group that has just gained a fifth member.

Where five or six riders sit in the fleet
This is the widest rung on the ladder, because it is the last vehicle that still drives like a car and the first that stops treating luggage as an afterthought.
Two SUVs on one reservation is a common answer for a party of nine or ten that wants to arrive in two doors rather than one. Ask a coordinator on (217) 523-5466 which reads better.
A seventh rider ends the conversation: above six the booking becomes the Sprinter Van, or the Stretch Limousine if the party is dressing for an occasion rather than counting seats.
Count the bags as well as the people and the right vehicle is usually obvious.
How it is priced
What a chauffeured SUV costs, and why no rate is printed here
A published figure would have to assume a trip nobody is taking. The SUV and the chauffeur are quoted by the hour, three things set the hours, and a written quote names all three.
The hours the vehicle is held for
A straight run to a terminal is quoted on the hours it takes door to door. A day the party directs, with the vehicle standing outside a building while they are in it, is quoted on the hours it is committed for. Either way the minimum is stated up front and one figure covers the whole vehicle.
The date, and the season it falls in
A weekend when every vehicle in the region is already reserved is a supply question before it is a pricing one, and winter weeks book earliest of all, which is why a February date rewards an early call more than a June one does.
The stops, and what is going in the back
A stop to collect a second party and their luggage changes the sizing, because the vehicle has to be matched to the heaviest leg of the day rather than to the first one.
The arithmetic behind an hourly figure is set out on the car service cost guide, and the group sized version is on the charter bus cost guide.

What riders say
Parties who arrived in one vehicle
Executive Transportation was easy to work with and very reliable. Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Our driver was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely hire them again.
The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.
Executive Transportation was incredibly responsive and was able to secure us a bus quickly. Our driver Andrew arrived on time and got us safely to and from our event.
A party that turns out to be seven is not an SUV booking at all: it moves to the Sprinter Van, where the extra seats come with a rack rather than with somebody holding a case.
Companies that move visitors in and out every week generally want corporate airport transfers written up once, so the instructions repeat instead of being explained again on every call.
Luxury SUV questions
What bookers ask before reserving a luxury SUV
Written for whoever is counting the cases. Pickup points are set out city by city.
How many passengers fit in a luxury SUV?
A luxury SUV from Executive Transportation seats 5 to 6 passengers with a uniformed chauffeur driving. Six fills the vehicle; five leaves the back row clear, which is where the luggage goes on a longer trip. A seventh rider moves the booking up to a Sprinter van.
Compare every class on the fleet page.
Will our luggage fit in the SUV?
Usually, and a coordinator will tell you plainly if it will not. Describe the load when you book rather than the headcount alone, because six riders with cabin bags and six riders with checked luggage for a two weeks are the same party and two different vehicles.
Call (217) 523-5466 and describe what is traveling.
Is an SUV better than a sedan in winter?
Most bookers think so, and it is the reason the vehicle is asked for by name between November and March. What actually changes the day is the chauffeur: somebody who drives these roads in every condition is watching the surface while the party watches the weather app.
Can I hire a luxury SUV without a driver?
No. Every vehicle Executive Transportation reserves comes with a uniformed chauffeur, and no version of the booking involves handing over a key. The chauffeur loads the bags, holds the door and stays with the party for the whole reservation rather than dropping and leaving.
Ask a coordinator at (217) 523-5466 what a chauffeured day looks like.
How much does a chauffeured luxury SUV cost?
Executive Transportation quotes the vehicle instead of publishing a rate. The SUV and the chauffeur are quoted by the hour with a minimum stated up front, and the hours follow the run door to door, the date, the hour the party is collected and any stops. One figure covers the whole vehicle, so a family of five splits it once.
Can you fit a child seat in the SUV?
Tell a reservation coordinator when you book and say how many and what ages, so it is arranged rather than discovered on the morning. It is a normal request on family airport runs and the chauffeur is told before the vehicle leaves rather than at the door.
Mention it on the booking call: (217) 523-5466.
What is the difference between a luxury SUV and a Sprinter van?
Six seats against fourteen, and how the party sits. The SUV drives like a car and suits a family or a small team with real luggage. The van adds a standing aisle and a rear rack, which is what a group of eight or more needs rather than a second vehicle.
See the Sprinter Van.

Three things parties say after the first SUV booking.
Nobody held a case on their knees
The load goes behind the last row and the passengers sit in seats, which sounds obvious until you have done the same trip in a car that was one size too small.
The weather stopped being the plan
A winter departure that used to mean leaving two hours early and hoping becomes an arranged collection with somebody else deciding when to set off.
One vehicle, one arrival
Five or six people reach the terminal at the same minute, through the same door, instead of regrouping in a parking aisle with the clock running.
