Book a Ride

Describe the trip. A coordinator quotes it and writes back.

This form is a message to the reservation desk, not a checkout: no card is asked for and nothing is held until you have seen the figure and agreed to it. If the trip is today or tomorrow, ring instead, because the line is answered at any hour.

How booking works

From the form to the chauffeur at your door

Four steps to a confirmed reservation, and four more on the day the vehicle turns up.

Before the day

Getting it on the schedule

  1. Send the trip, or call it inDate, hour, pickup address, destination and headcount. Anything you leave out is what a coordinator has to ring you about.
  2. A figure comes back in writingQuoted by the hour for the trip you described, with the minimum stated up front, covering the vehicle rather than the seat, and sent to you before anything is reserved.
  3. You confirm, then it is heldSay yes and the vehicle goes on the schedule. A coordinator sets out the charges that apply and how payment will be taken.
  4. The confirmation is the documentVehicle, hour, addresses, passenger name and charges on one page. Keep it: it governs the trip.

What the trip itself looks like

  1. A uniformed chauffeur, earlyThe vehicle is outside before the hour on the confirmation, which is the habit this company was built on.
  2. Bags, doors and the routeLuggage goes in, the door is held, and the chauffeur drives the route that suits the traffic rather than the one the app likes.
  3. Anything that moves goes through dispatchA later flight, an extra stop or a changed address is a phone call, and the chauffeur hears it from the same desk you do.
  4. At an airport, met at baggage claimYour chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage and walks you out to the vehicle.

Notice, and what happens without it. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability. A coach or several vehicles at once want about a week, and inside a day the honest answer comes from the phone rather than a form: ring (217) 523-5466.

What a quote includes

What the figure covers, and what can move it

A quote is written by a reservation coordinator for the trip you described, and it quotes the vehicle and the chauffeur together by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, rather than charging by the seat.

The vehicle and the chauffeur, as one figure

You are hiring the whole vehicle, so a headcount inside its capacity does not change the figure. Six people in an SUV divide one number between them.

What can change it

A different pickup or drop-off address, a new date or hour, more passengers, a bigger vehicle or more time held for you. Say what changed and the figure is redone.

What is set out on the confirmation

Any deposit, gratuity, waiting time, additional stop, toll, parking or airport fee that applies to your trip is written on your confirmation. Ask a coordinator before you agree if anything reads oddly.

Quote, payment and reservation terms are in the Terms. Change and cancellation windows are on the cancellation policy page.

The fleet

Pick the size, not the seat

Six classes, and a uniformed chauffeur with whichever one is quoted.

Not sure which one? Send the headcount and the luggage and a coordinator will pick it.

If the trip is a board meeting, a session day or a conference, the corporate hub explains how those are scheduled instead.

Booking questions

Five things people ask before they send the form

The rest are on the FAQ page. These five come up on this one.

How quickly will someone reply to my ride request?

A reservation coordinator picks the request up and replies with a written figure. There is no promised number of minutes on this page, because the honest answer depends on the hour and on how complicated the trip is. What is fixed is that the reservations line is answered 24 hours a day, so a trip that leaves within a day should be a call.

Ring (217) 523-5466 if it is urgent.

Do I pay when I book on the website?

No. No payment is taken on this website and the form does not ask for a card. A reservation coordinator confirms the payment method with you along with the quote, and the charges that apply to your trip are set out on your confirmation. Card details themselves are handled by a payment provider, not stored here.

The detail is in the Terms.

Can I book a ride for somebody else?

Yes, and it is common: assistants book for executives, offices book for visiting teams, and families book for a parent flying in. Put your own details in the form and the passenger name, their phone number and anything a chauffeur should know in the message box, so the confirmation reaches both of you.

Call (217) 523-5466 to add a passenger to a booking.

Can I change or cancel after the reservation is confirmed?

Yes. Call dispatch, because a change or a cancellation counts from the moment dispatch confirms it back to you in writing, and a voicemail or an email on its own does not cancel a trip. The free window is 24 hours for a sedan or SUV, 48 for a Sprinter and 72 for a coach or several vehicles.

Read the cancellation policy.

Will I get a text about my booking?

Only if you tick the consent box on the form. Ticking it means we may text you about your quote and your reservation at that number, consent is never a condition of buying a ride, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop them. Leave it unchecked and everything comes by phone and email instead.

See the SMS section of the Privacy Policy.

Book the ride

Send the trip and get a written figure

Three habits that get a complete reply the first time.

  • Give a street address, not a district

A chauffeur pulls up to a door, and the door is what the itinerary needs.

  • Quote the return leg in the same message

Both halves quoted together stay on one confirmation, which is easier to change later.

  • Say what the hard deadline is

A flight, a ceremony or a session start tells a coordinator how much margin to plan in.
