DuPage Airport (DPA) Car Service & Chauffeured Transfers

One flight center, one door, and a chauffeur already standing at it.

DuPage is a general aviation airport on the western edge of the metropolitan area, built for corporate flight departments, charter and private owners rather than airline schedules. Executive Transportation meets aircraft at the DuPage Flight Center, loads beside the steps where the ramp allows it, and quotes the whole vehicle.

Know the airport

What to know about DuPage Airport

DuPage Airport, code DPA, sits in West Chicago and describes itself as a general aviation facility for corporate and private aviation. The DuPage Airport Authority runs the field’s own fixed base operator, the DuPage Flight Center, and there is no airline concourse on the property at all.

One operator, which keeps arrivals simple

Several business airports make you work out which building your flight is using. DuPage does not: the airport authority runs the Flight Center itself, and that is where passengers come and go. The address is 2700 International Drive, and a chauffeur is parked at the entrance before the aircraft is on the ground.

There is no terminal, no checkpoint and no carousel

Arriving here is a walk from the aircraft into a lobby and back out of a door. Nobody waits in line, nobody waits on a carousel, and there is no lower level lane to find. That compression is the reason companies fly into fields like this one, and it is worth keeping on the ground side too.

What the operator publishes about itself

The Flight Center calls itself an Executive Class FBO, gives its number as (630) 208-5600, says its aircraft services and customer service run around the clock, and describes an apron of about a million square feet. Practically, that means a late arrival is still met, and there is room for a vehicle to work beside an aircraft where the ramp staff allow it.

The western side of the region

West Chicago puts the field near the research and corporate corridor west of the city, which is usually why a flight department picks it. The ground leg from the ramp to an office or a hotel is the only moving part left, and it is the one we handle.

Airport and operator details checked on the DuPage Airport Authority’s own site, dupageairport.gov, and on dupageflightcenter.com, both on September 17, 2026. Confirm anything time sensitive with whoever arranged your flight.

Departures

Your door to the Flight Center

  1. Give us the departure time the crew setPrivate departures run on the flight department’s clock, not an airline’s check-in advice. Tell us the time you are expected at the Flight Center and the tail number.
  2. We build the pickup backward from itStart at the crew’s time, add the run up, then a cushion for the western suburbs at the wrong hour. Our booking guide covers what else moves a quote.
  3. Luggage is the chauffeur’s problemCases, sample kits, sports bags and boxes all count, so mention them at booking and the right vehicle arrives rather than the smallest one that seats the party.
  4. Set down at the Flight Center entranceThe car stops at 2700 International Drive, where the crew expects you. Where ramp access is arranged, the drop happens beside the aircraft instead.

Arrivals

Wheels down to the car

  1. Send the tail number and the arrival timeThose two details hold the vehicle. If the flight moves, call dispatch: somebody answers at any hour, including the ones that make an arrival awkward.
  2. The chauffeur is waiting, not circlingHe parks at the Flight Center entrance before the aircraft lands, so there is no call to make and no lane to be told about when you walk out.
  3. Bags into the vehicleWhere the operator allows a car on the ramp, luggage goes from the hold to the trunk in one move. Where it does not, the handoff happens at the door and takes a minute longer.
  4. Straight on to the meetingNothing to clear and nothing to stand in line for on a domestic arrival. Most passengers are on the road within minutes of the aircraft door opening.

Call dispatch when the plan changes. We hold the car against the tail number and time from your booking, so a phone call is what moves it. Whatever the hour, (217) 523-5466 rings through to a dispatcher.

Private jets and charter

Private jet and charter flights at DuPage Airport

Private and charter aircraft are the entire business of this field, so the ground side should be just as unfussy. Executive Transportation runs uniformed chauffeurs to the Flight Center for single executives, full charters and flight crews alike.

  • 01

One door, and the car is at it

With a single fixed base operator there is no guessing which entrance your aircraft parks behind. The chauffeur waits at the Flight Center with the vehicle and plate already sent to you, which turns arrivals into a walk of a few steps.

  • 02

Loading on the apron, when the operator allows it

Ramp access is the operator’s call, and where it is given we load and unload at the aircraft steps. That is the difference between a private arrival and a scheduled one, and it is worth asking for when the party has hard cases.

  • 03

Cabin and cockpit on the same reservation

A crew heading for a hotel and passengers heading for an office are one reservation to us. One vehicle or two, one coordinator, and nobody left standing on the apron waiting for a car to return.

  • 04

One Sprinter takes a full charter

Fourteen seats, a stand-up aisle and room for cases take a full charter in one move. Bigger groups step up to a coach, still quoted by the hour as one vehicle rather than a seat per head.

The operator at DuPage

  • DuPage Flight Center2700 International Drive, West Chicago, Illinois 60185The airport’s own operator, which it calls an Executive Class FBO. Its published number is (630) 208-5600, it describes aircraft and customer services as running around the clock, and it sits on what it calls a one-million-square-foot apron.

Send the tail number, the operator and the scheduled arrival when you book, and call dispatch if any of it moves. Somebody is on the phone whatever the hour, including the ones a flight plan tends to move into. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.

Why be driven

Four reasons to book the ground leg

An aircraft that saves two hours can hand them straight back at the ramp if nobody arranged the car. This is what a chauffeured transfer actually buys a flight department.

One quote, whole vehicle

The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, and the tollway at the wrong hour is planned into those hours. Everyone off the aircraft rides on one figure.

No terminal to cross

The vehicle is at the Flight Center door, not in a public lot, so the walk from the aircraft to the back seat is measured in steps rather than corridors.

Usable time on the road

Take the calls, read the deck or say nothing at all. The corridor west of the city is not worth steering through after a flight.

Chauffeurs who understand a ramp

General aviation pickups have been part of our work since 2004. Chauffeurs arrive uniformed, early, and aware that an FBO apron has rules of its own.

The fleet

Fleet for this run

Every DuPage transfer is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so the only question is what came off the aircraft. Give a coordinator the headcount and what the cases look like.

Every vehicle arrives with a uniformed chauffeur, and a party of 8 to 10 that wants to arrive together takes the stretch limousine.

Cities we connect to DPA

Where our DuPage runs start

Executive Transportation drives to West Chicago from across Central Illinois and back, on one quote for the whole vehicle. These are the cities the DuPage work starts in most, usually because a company aircraft is waiting at the other end of it.

Every figure below is a clear-road drive to the field. Book against the flight rather than the drive: the pickup is worked backward from the time the crew gives you, and the tollways west of the city run slow at the peaks.

Wherever the run begins, the quote covers the vehicle.

Airport to airport

Popular transfers between DuPage and other airports

The aircraft brings a group in and the tickets home leave from an airline field, or the other way around. We drive that leg as one booking, with the luggage staying exactly where it was put.

Each card is the drive between DuPage and the airport named, in either direction. Send both sets of flight details and both scheduled times when you book, and call dispatch if either moves.

Two airports, one vehicle, one quote.

What riders say

Three riders, three different runs

Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

Jen DeJongRider review

The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.

Parris Smith · Rider review

Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute.

Meghan Foresman · Rider review

Flight departments book the ground leg the way they book the aircraft, in advance and against a calendar. That is what executive chauffeur service is arranged around.

Agencies and delegations arriving on chartered aircraft use our government travel service for the ground side.

DuPage questions

What people ask before booking a DuPage car

The answers below use the DuPage Airport Authority’s own published information and the Flight Center’s own pages, read in September 2026.

Where does the chauffeur meet you at DuPage Airport?

Executive Transportation meets passengers at the DuPage Flight Center, 2700 International Drive, which is the airport’s own fixed base operator and the only one on the field. The chauffeur parks at the entrance before the aircraft lands, so there is no lane to find and no call to make on the way out.

Call (217) 523-5466 with the tail number and time.

Do you pick up private jets and charter flights at DuPage?

Private, charter and corporate aircraft are the only flights here, and they are the work Executive Transportation does at this field. We wait at the Flight Center, load beside the aircraft where ramp access is allowed, and carry flight crew and passengers on the same booking rather than sending two cars.

See executive chauffeur service.

Does DuPage Airport have airline flights?

Executive Transportation treats DuPage as what it calls itself, a general aviation facility for corporate and private aviation, with no scheduled airline service published. If your journey involves an airline ticket, that flight leaves from another field, and we drive to those as well as to this one.

See the airports we drive.

How long does it take to get from the aircraft to the car?

Executive Transportation usually has passengers moving within minutes. There is no security checkpoint, no baggage carousel and no terminal to cross at DuPage: passengers walk from the aircraft through the Flight Center lobby to a car standing at the door. Where the operator allows ramp access, the bags never enter the building.

Ask dispatch at (217) 523-5466 how yours will run.

Can you drive from DuPage to O’Hare or Midway?

Executive Transportation runs West Chicago to either Chicago airline field, and back, as a single booking in one vehicle. It is a common shape of trip: in on the company aircraft, home on a scheduled flight. Send both sets of flight details so the timing is built properly.

See airport-to-airport transfers.

Can the flight crew ride with the passengers?

Executive Transportation carries crew and passengers on one reservation, in one vehicle or two, arranged by a single coordinator. Crews usually want a hotel while passengers want an office, and handling that as two separate bookings is what strands somebody at an FBO late at night.

Ask about corporate airport transfers.

Which vehicle suits a private arrival at DuPage?

Executive Transportation sends an executive sedan for one or two passengers, a luxury SUV for five or six with hard cases, a Sprinter van for a full charter of fourteen, and a coach for a delegation up to thirty-five. Luggage decides it more often than headcount, so mention the cases.

Compare the full fleet.

How far ahead should the car be booked?

Executive Transportation prefers 72 hours’ notice for a DuPage pickup and about a week when a coach is involved. Short-notice trips are still worth a call, because they depend on what is free. Dispatch answers 24 hours a day, which is the number that matters when a flight plan shifts.

Three things flight departments mention after a West Chicago pickup.

  • The car is at the Flight Center door

One operator, one address, and a chauffeur parked at it before the aircraft is down.

  • Priced per vehicle, not per passenger

Quoted by the hour with the minimum stated up front, so everyone off the aircraft travels on a single figure.

  • Dispatch answers when the plan moves

Flight plans change late. Somebody picks up the phone at any hour and moves the pickup with them.
