One pickup, one drop · Quoted by the hour
Point to Point Car Service: One Pickup, One Drop, One Quote
Two addresses, one vehicle, and a figure in writing before you leave.
Point to point transportation is the simplest thing a chauffeured fleet does: a vehicle collects your party at one address and sets it down at another, quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle. It is the booking behind most business travel between cities.

What point to point is
What point to point transportation means on a booking
Point to point transportation is a single chauffeured transfer between two named addresses, quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle. No meter runs, the minimum is stated up front, and nobody else is collected along the way.
The two addresses are the whole booking
A house to an office, a plant to a hotel, a campus to a terminal, a hospital to a home three hours away. Whatever the pair, the vehicle goes directly between them and the trip ends when you are set down.
The figure is written before the wheels turn
The quote is built from the hours the run takes, so the approach the route is known for is planned in and the figure is in writing before you leave. That is the difference from anything metered.
One vehicle, one party, one quote
The quote buys the vehicle rather than a seat in it, so a couple pays the same as the five colleagues who could have filled the same SUV. Nothing is shared and no second party is picked up.
Pairings with a page of their own carry the miles, the road and the drive time in full: those are on the routes hub. A pair that is not listed is an ordinary booking, quoted the same way.
How it goes
The leg out, and the leg home
Most transfers are booked in pairs, and the second half is where people forget to plan.
The outbound leg
Getting there
- Give both addresses in fullBuilding names and gate numbers help. Rural addresses are worth a landmark as well.
- Name the hour that mattersA meeting time or a check-in desk closing. The pickup hour is worked back from it.
- Headcount and luggage decide the vehicleFive people with five cases are an SUV. Five with hand luggage might be a sedan.
- The chauffeur takes the routeRoad work and weather are handled up front, which is why the pickup is set early.
The return leg
Getting back
- Book the way home at the same timeA return leg on the same reservation is one conversation rather than two bookings.
- An open ending is fineIf the finish time is a guess, say so, and dispatch will hold the hour loosely.
- A different drop-off is normalPlenty of returns end somewhere other than the first pickup address, at no extra trouble.
- Long gaps belong in one blockIf the car should wait through the middle of a day, hold it for the block instead of two runs.

Point to point transfers for private jet passengers
A charter flight turns two long drives into one short transfer at each end, and the ground half is booked exactly like any other pair of addresses.
- 01
The operator is one of your two points
Give dispatch the name of the private terminal and it becomes the pickup or the drop like any address.
- 02
Straight to the meeting, not a hub
Charter passengers usually land closer to where they are going, so the transfer is the short part.
- 03
Vehicles sized to the cabin
Six seats out of the aircraft fit one SUV. Twelve or fourteen want the Sprinter instead.
- 04
Slots move, so keep dispatch informed
A departure that slides an hour changes the pickup, not the booking. One call covers it.
Charter transfers are quoted the same way as any other pair of addresses, with the operator named instead of a terminal. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
Executive Transportation is a ground transportation company. We drive to the aircraft; we do not charter it.

Why be driven
How a transfer is quoted
Every transfer is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, with the minimum stated up front, which is why no rate is printed here. Describe the two addresses and the party and a coordinator returns one figure.
The hours set most of it
The drive between your two addresses sets the hours, and the traffic either end is known for is planned in.
Then the vehicle
A sedan, an SUV, a Sprinter and a coach cost different amounts to send anywhere at all.
Timing, and anything extra
Pre-dawn pickups and a second address on the way both go into the quote, so mention them early.
Round trips are one conversation
Book the return with the outbound leg and the whole thing sits on a single reservation.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.

Which vehicle for the transfer
On a single transfer the vehicle is chosen for the party and the luggage, because there is no second run to spread anybody across.
Executive Sedan
Two or three riders with ordinary luggage. The most common transfer in the book.

Cities at one end of a transfer
A transfer can start or finish in any of these, and in plenty of towns without a page of their own. Each card is stamped with the code of the field closest to it.
Each city page names its pickup points and the transfers made there most. The full list is on the service area hub.
Your two addresses do not have to be on this list, or in this state. A transfer that crosses into Missouri or Indiana is quoted the same way as one across town: see the states we serve.
Name the two ends and the hours follow.

Pairings booked point to point most often
Six pairs come up again and again. Each one has a page of its own setting out the mileage, the road taken and the drive time, and the figures below are the calibrated ones this site uses everywhere.
Treat each drive time as a floor rather than a promise. Open interstate holds its average; the metropolitan approach at the far end is the part that moves.
Any other pair of addresses books the same way, including ones with no route page at all. The whole list is on the routes hub.
One reservation covers the run out and the run home.
What riders say
Riders on the transfers
Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Our driver was friendly and accommodating.
The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.
Our driver Andrew arrived on time and got us safely to and from our event.
Companies that move the same people between the same two cities every month book it through executive chauffeur service.
When the transfer ends at a terminal, it is corporate airport transfers instead.
Transfer questions
What people ask about point to point transportation
How the quote works, how far a transfer can run, and when a different booking suits better.
What is point to point transportation?
Point to point transportation is a single chauffeured trip between two addresses you name, quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle rather than read off a meter. Executive Transportation sends one vehicle for your party only, loads the bags at the door and drives directly to the destination.
Send both addresses or call (217) 523-5466.
How is a point to point trip quoted?
Executive Transportation quotes the transfer by the hour before it starts, with the minimum stated up front. The hours between your two addresses, which vehicle carries the party, when the pickup happens and whether a second stop is added set the figure. One quote buys the whole vehicle, so five colleagues divide one number.
Read how a quote is built.
Can I add a stop on the way?
Yes, and the quote is adjusted for it at the booking rather than at the door. One extra pickup or a quick errand is ordinary. Once a trip has three or more stops, or the vehicle should wait through the middle of a day, holding the vehicle for one block is usually the better shape.
Compare hourly chauffeur service.
How far will you drive for one transfer?
Executive Transportation drives transfers of any length, from ten minutes across a city to several hundred miles into Missouri, Indiana or further out, including runs where flying would only add a connection. Nothing is capped by a zone: the hours between the pair of addresses set the figure.
Is this a shared ride?
No. One party rides per vehicle on a point to point transfer, the vehicle drives your pair of addresses only, and no second booking is ever added to it. That is why a single traveler can hold a pickup at four in the morning and still leave on time.
Call (217) 523-5466 for your own vehicle.
Can you book the return trip as well?
Yes, and it is worth doing in the same call. A return leg goes on the same reservation, can end at a different address from the original pickup, and can be left loose if the finishing time is still a guess. Dispatch confirms both legs in writing.
Book both legs at (217) 523-5466.
How far ahead should I book a transfer?
Executive Transportation asks for 72 hours where the date allows it, and nearer a week when a coach or more than one vehicle is involved. Dispatch takes calls at any hour, and a late request comes down to which vehicles remain unbooked. Pre-dawn transfers are the first to go.

Why a written quote beats a meter on a long run.
The figure is written before the trip
Quoted by the hour with the minimum stated up front, so there is nothing to settle in the car.
Direct, with nobody else aboard
The vehicle carries your party only and drives between your two addresses without detours.
Both legs in one call
The run out and the run home can sit on one reservation, even ending somewhere different.
