Executive Sedan with a Chauffeur: 2 to 3 Passengers
The quiet option, and the one most people book twice.
Two or three riders, a uniformed chauffeur at the wheel and a back seat nobody else is sold a place in. Executives between meetings, a couple catching an early departure and a consultant with a laptop open on the way to a client all reserve the same car.

What it is for
What an executive sedan actually gets booked for
Four reservations account for most sedan days. Only one of them is really about the car; the other three are about the hour it gives somebody back.
A departure with work still open
The hour before a flight is the hour a deck gets finished. Riding it in the back with the phone on speaker is the difference between arriving prepared and arriving having parked.
A client visit with three addresses
A car that waits outside while you are inside turns a scattered afternoon into a schedule. Nobody circles a block looking for a space between appointments.
An arrival after a long day
A late landing is the wrong moment to find a shuttle stand. The chauffeur is waiting inside at baggage claim, takes the bag, and the address on the reservation is where the car stops.
An evening that should not involve driving
Dinner, a show or a company function, with one vehicle for the party and one figure agreed before anybody leaves the house.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
Who books it
Who reserves the executive sedan
Three desks fill most of the sedan calendar, and none of them are asking the same question. One is watching a departure board, one is watching a calendar, one is watching a front door.

The sedan on a city street, at a terminal and at an aircraft
Four frames of the work a sedan is reserved for, from a front door on a street to the ramp at a private terminal.
The back seat frame is a licensed photograph, credited at the foot of this page; the rest come out of the Executive Transportation library. Vehicles differ in trim from one to the next, so a coordinator confirms what is held for your date rather than pointing at a picture.
Compare the fleet
Where two or three riders sit in the fleet
The sedan is the floor of this fleet rather than its entry level: everything larger exists because a group outgrew it, not because the sedan is a lesser car.
A party that keeps growing between the first call and the date is an ordinary conversation to have with a coordinator on (217) 523-5466 rather than a problem.
Three adults with a week of checked luggage between them read better in the luxury SUV, and a fourth passenger moves the booking there outright. Nothing else about the reservation changes.
Give a coordinator the headcount and the bags and the right car names itself.
How it is priced
What an executive sedan costs, and what the figure is actually built from
There is no sedan rate on this site, because the car and the chauffeur are quoted by the hour and the hours depend on the trip. Three inputs set them, and a written quote names all three.
The hours the car is held for
A run between two addresses is quoted on the hours it takes door to door. A day where the car waits outside a building while you are in it is quoted on the hours it is committed for. Both are one hourly figure for the car and the chauffeur, with the minimum stated before anything is agreed.
The date, and the hour you are collected
A weekday at nine and a Saturday in a season where every vehicle in the region is spoken for are different supply questions before they are pricing ones. A collection before dawn is its own line of the same conversation.
The stops, and whether the car waits at them
Two addresses is one shape. Two addresses with forty minutes standing at the first is another, because for those minutes the car cannot be anywhere else, and the hours in the written figure say so.
How an hourly figure is assembled is walked through on the car service cost guide, and the version for a whole group is on the charter bus cost guide.
Reserve the sedan
Book the car.
Send the date, the time and the two addresses. What comes back names the vehicle, the collection hour and one written figure, and it does not change on the day.

What riders say
Riders on the two seat run
I recently used Executive Transportation Illinois, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free. Andrew, my driver, was fantastic. Excellent communication, ensured my comfort, and impeccable punctuality.
Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.
Executive Transportation was incredibly responsive and was able to secure us a bus quickly. Our driver Andrew arrived on time and got us safely to and from our event.
A traveler who turns up with more luggage than the car was booked for is moved into the luxury SUV, and a party that has quietly become five is moved there before the date rather than on it.
Offices that send the same person to the same terminal every month usually want corporate airport transfers set up once, which is one instruction repeated rather than a fresh booking each time.
Executive sedan questions
What riders ask before reserving an executive sedan
Written for whoever is making the booking. Where we collect is set out on each city page.
How many passengers fit in an executive sedan?
An executive sedan from Executive Transportation seats 2 to 3 passengers behind a uniformed chauffeur. Two travel with room to spread out and work; a third is comfortable for a shorter leg. A fourth rider, or a third with a week of luggage, belongs in the luxury SUV instead.
Compare every class on the fleet page.
Is an executive sedan the right vehicle for an airport run?
For one or two travelers it is the usual answer. On a departure the chauffeur collects at the address on the reservation, loads the bags, and the car stops at the terminal door your boarding pass names. On an arrival the chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage and walks you out.
See how airport transportation is booked.
Where does the luggage go in an executive sedan?
In the trunk, loaded by the chauffeur rather than by you. Tell a reservation coordinator what is traveling when you book, because two riders with carry-ons and two riders with checked luggage and a set of golf clubs are different sizing questions with the same headcount.
Call (217) 523-5466 and say what you are carrying.
Can I hire an executive sedan without a driver?
No. Every vehicle Executive Transportation reserves arrives with a uniformed chauffeur, and there is no version of the booking that hands over a key. That is the line between this and a rental counter: the same person drives, waits, loads the bags and holds the door all day.
Ask a coordinator at (217) 523-5466 what a chauffeured day looks like.
How much does a chauffeured executive sedan cost?
Executive Transportation quotes the car rather than publishing a rate. The car and the chauffeur are quoted by the hour with a minimum stated up front, and the hours follow the run door to door, the date, the hour you are collected and any stop on the way. One figure covers both, confirmed in writing first.
Can I book a sedan for a whole day of meetings?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons the sedan goes out. The car and chauffeur are held for a block of hours, so waiting between appointments sits inside the booking instead of being charged as a surprise. An hourly minimum applies and is quoted up front.
What is the difference between an executive sedan and a luxury SUV?
Seats and load space. The sedan carries 2 to 3 and suits travelers with cabin luggage. The SUV carries 5 to 6 and swallows checked bags, strollers and winter gear, which is why families and anyone driving in January tend to move up to it without changing anything else.

The hour before a flight comes back
Nobody navigates, nobody hunts for a parking space and nobody watches a fuel gauge, so the time in the car is time that can be spent on something else entirely.
The car is where it said it would be
A collection time on a written confirmation is a commitment rather than an estimate, and dispatch is staffed through the night if anything about the day moves.
One line on an expense claim
The car and the chauffeur are quoted together by the hour and invoiced together, so a finance desk sees a single figure instead of a fare plus extras added afterwards.
