O’Hare Airport Car Service & Chauffeured Transportation
Four terminals, two roadways, and a chauffeur who knows which one is yours.
O’Hare is the run where the details do the work: which terminal, which level, and which lane a chauffeured car is allowed to stand in. Executive Transportation sends a uniformed chauffeur to your door, handles the bags, and sets them down at the terminal your boarding pass names.

Know the airport
What to know about Chicago O’Hare
Chicago O’Hare International Airport, code ORD, runs four passenger terminals: 1, 2 and 3 for domestic flights, and Terminal 5 for international. There is no Terminal 4. Which building you are flying from decides where you are dropped and where you are met. Private and charter flights never touch those four buildings at all: they come and go from the general aviation side of the field.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are domestic. Terminal 5 is international.
O’Hare numbers its passenger buildings 1, 2, 3 and 5, and there is no Terminal 4 on the field. The three domestic terminals connect to one another on the secure side, so moving between them is a walk behind the checkpoint rather than a train ride. Terminal 5 is the international building, and the airport routes arriving international passengers through the Customs and Border Protection hall there.
The Airport Transit System links all four, free, around the clock
The ATS is O’Hare’s own automated train. It serves Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 as well as the Multi-Modal Facility, it costs nothing to ride, and it runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A Terminal Transfer Bus also runs every 15 minutes between 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., but only for connecting passengers holding a same-day departing flight.
Where your chauffeur meets you
This is the part worth knowing before you land. Departures are dropped at the terminal door on the upper level roadway. Arrivals are met inside: your chauffeur is waiting at baggage claim on the lower level, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle, which O’Hare has liveries stage in designated livery parking directly across from each terminal, typically a five to seven minute walk. You never stand outside watching for a car, and the chauffeur confirms the exit door with you on the way.
Give us the terminal printed on your boarding pass
Airlines move between buildings at O’Hare, and a codeshare can put you somewhere other than the name on the ticket suggests. The terminal on the boarding pass is the one a reservation coordinator needs. If it changes after you book, call dispatch and the drop moves with it.
Terminal, transit and ground transportation details checked on the Chicago Department of Aviation’s own site, flychicago.com, on September 17, 2026. Parking rates checked September 15, 2026. O’Hare revises these pages, so confirm anything time sensitive before you travel.
O’Hare airport transportation
Departures and arrivals at O’Hare
Two roadways do all the work. Upper level on the way out, lower level on the way back in.
Departures
Your door to the O’Hare departures entrance
- Give us the flightAirline, flight number, scheduled departure and the terminal printed on your boarding pass. Four lines, and the vehicle is held for that hour.
- We build the pickup backward from the flightThe terminal-door time comes from what your airline asks for, then the run up, then a cushion for the weekday peaks. Our guide to when to leave shows how that is worked out.
- Bags at your doorYour chauffeur has the trunk open and the cases in it while you are still locking the front door.
- Upper level, at your terminalDepartures at O’Hare are dropped at the terminal door on the upper level roadway. An international departure out of Terminal 5 goes to Terminal 5, not to the domestic buildings, so tell us which one when you book.
Arrivals
The lower level back to your door
- Send the flight numberBook with the flight number and the scheduled arrival, then call dispatch the moment either one changes. The line is staffed through the night, which is when a good share of O’Hare arrivals land.
- Claim your bagsBaggage claim sits on the lower level of each terminal. International arrivals clear Customs and Border Protection in Terminal 5 before they reach it.
- Met inside at baggage claimYour chauffeur is waiting at baggage claim with your name, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle in the livery parking O’Hare keeps directly across from each terminal. You never stand outside watching for a car; the exact exit door is confirmed with you before you walk out.
- Terminal 5 works the same wayAn international arrival is met at baggage claim in Terminal 5. If you are connecting into a domestic terminal instead, say so when you book: the free Airport Transit System handles that leg and the car meets you where you come out.
Private jets and charter
Private jet and charter flights at O’Hare
Not everything that lands at Chicago O’Hare comes off an airline. Executive Transportation drives the general aviation side of the field as well as the terminals, so a private, charter or corporate aircraft gets the same car, the same uniformed chauffeur and the same hour as a scheduled flight.
- 01
Pickup at the FBO door
General aviation at O’Hare runs through the fixed base operator rather than the passenger terminals, so your chauffeur waits at the FBO door rather than the airline terminal. Nobody walks a terminal they were never going to use, and none of the terminal roadway rules apply.
- 02
Luggage loaded plane-side
Where the operator and the ramp allow it, we load and unload beside the aircraft, which is most of the point of flying privately. Where they do not, the bags move at the FBO door instead, and the car is already sitting there.
- 03
Crew to the hotel, passengers to the office
Flight crews need a hotel and passengers need an office, and both are usually on a clock. Both ride under one reservation, in a single vehicle or a pair of them, so nobody is left on the ramp while a car doubles back.
- 04
A Sprinter for the delegation
A jet full of executives or a visiting delegation fits one Sprinter, with room for hard cases and a stand-up aisle. Anything larger takes a coach, and the number still describes the vehicle rather than the seats inside it.
Where general aviation runs at O’Hare
- Signature Flight SupportPatton Drive, Bldg. 825, Chicago, Illinois 60666The only fixed base operator O’Hare lists on its own FBO page. Signature says the facility is staffed around the clock, which is what a charter arriving at 2 a.m. needs.
The booking needs the tail number, the operator and the scheduled arrival, plus a call to dispatch if any of the three changes. The line is staffed around the clock. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
Executive Transportation is a ground transportation company. We drive to the aircraft, we do not charter it.

Why be driven
Four reasons to be driven to O’Hare
O’Hare rewards a traveler who never has to think about the roadway, the lot, the shuttle or the train. This is what a chauffeur is actually buying you.
The whole car on one number
The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, so the figure is built from the hours the run takes and a coordinator plans for the Chicago approaches. Four colleagues on the same flight share one vehicle instead of buying four seats.
Door to door, no lot and no shuttle
No economy lot, no bus to the Multi-Modal Facility, no train ride with your bags. The chauffeur loads at your door and sets everything down at the terminal your boarding pass names.
Work the run, or sleep it
Most of our riders count the back seat as working hours. Join the call, redline the contract, or sleep before an early departure while the Chicago approaches are somebody else’s problem.
Uniformed chauffeurs since 2004
Executive Transportation has been driving O’Hare runs since 2004. Chauffeurs arrive uniformed and early, and they know which roadway and which lane the airport wants them in.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
The fleet
Fleet for this run
Every O’Hare run is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so the only question is which one your party fits. Say who is flying and what they are carrying, and a coordinator picks it for you.
Executive Sedan
One passenger, or two with nothing but cabin bags. The usual answer for a morning departure.

Luxury SUV
Booked when the luggage decides the vehicle rather than the headcount: checked bags, trade show hard cases, golf clubs, a family leaving for two weeks.

Sprinter Van
Fourteen seats and an aisle you can stand in, so a project team or a sales crew reaches the terminal together on one reservation.

Groups of 15 to 35
The answer when a conference block, an association board or a visiting delegation all fly out together. Shuttle coaches seat 22 to 35, limousine coaches 25 to 30.
Shuttle CoachLimousine CoachWhichever one you book, it arrives with a uniformed chauffeur at the wheel. A stretch limousine seats 8 to 10 when the party would rather arrive together with some occasion to it.

Where our O’Hare runs start
Executive Transportation drives to Chicago O’Hare from across Central Illinois, in both directions, on one quote for the whole vehicle. These are the cities the O’Hare work comes from most, and each one has its own page.
Every figure below is a clear-road drive to the O’Hare terminals. Give dispatch the flight rather than the drive: we build the pickup backward from your departure, and the approaches into Chicago run longer in the weekday peaks.
Calibrated clear-road figures, checked against Travelmath. Treat them as the floor. We also collect from Jacksonville, Lincoln, Taylorville, Effingham and Mattoon-Charleston, and from any address between them.
One quote covers the vehicle, whichever city the run starts in.
Park or be driven
Park at O’Hare, or be driven to it
Parking is the number most people check first, and it is usually the smallest part of the bill. Here is what the airport charges, and what the drive itself costs before anybody parks anything.
- Cheapest official lot$16Per day in Economy Lots G and H, then a shuttle to the Multi-Modal Facility and the train to your terminal.
- Closest garage$43Per day in the Main Garage daily levels, Lots B and C, and the Terminal 5 garage and Lot D.
- The drive itself$305.52A Springfield round trip of 402 miles at the IRS business rate of 76 cents a mile, before a dollar of parking.
Three days in Lot G plus that mileage comes to about $354, and the parking line keeps growing while you are away. Read the full cost breakdown.
Get a quote for the whole vehicleParking rates from flychicago.com, checked September 15, 2026, taxes included. Mileage rate from irs.gov, 76 cents a mile for July 1 to December 31, 2026. We quote the vehicle and chauffeur by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, so ask a coordinator for a written figure rather than assuming one.

Airport to airport
Popular transfers between O’Hare and other airports
Connections move. When the onward flight leaves from a different field, Executive Transportation drives the gap in one vehicle, with the bags staying exactly where you put them.
Each card is the drive between O’Hare and the airport named, in either direction. Give us both flight numbers and both scheduled times when you book, and call dispatch if either moves.
Clear-road figures. Chicago traffic is the one variable these numbers do not carry.
One booking, both airports, one quote for the vehicle.
What riders say
Three riders, three different runs
Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.
The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.
Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute.
Companies move the same people through O’Hare week after week, and corporate airport transfers are arranged one trip, one team, or one travel calendar at a time.
Agencies, legislative offices and visiting delegations book their O’Hare runs through our government travel service.
O’Hare questions
What people ask before booking an O’Hare car
The answers below use the Chicago Department of Aviation’s own published guidance for O’Hare, checked on flychicago.com in September 2026, and our own calibrated drive times.
How far ahead should I book a car service to O’Hare?
Executive Transportation prefers 72 hours’ notice for an O’Hare transfer, and about a week for a group that needs a coach. Call anytime: short-notice trips depend on vehicle availability, and the early departures fill first. Give a coordinator the flight, the terminal and the headcount and the vehicle is held.
Call (217) 523-5466 or request a quote.
Where does the chauffeur meet you at O’Hare?
Executive Transportation meets arriving passengers inside at baggage claim, on the lower level of each O’Hare terminal. Your chauffeur is waiting there with your name, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle in the livery parking O’Hare keeps directly across from each terminal, typically a five to seven minute walk. You do not wait outside for the car.
See how airport transportation works.
What happens if my flight into O’Hare is late?
Executive Transportation asks you to call dispatch as soon as you know. We set the vehicle from the flight number and scheduled arrival you give us when you book, rather than watching the schedule ourselves, so a call is what moves it. Dispatch is answered 24 hours a day, including the middle of the night.
Call (217) 523-5466 to move a booked pickup.
How is the price for an O’Hare car service set?
Executive Transportation quotes the vehicle and chauffeur by the hour for every O’Hare run, with the minimum hours stated up front in the written quote. The hours the trip takes decide the figure, so a coordinator builds them from the schedule, the vehicle class and the traffic the Chicago approaches are known for. One figure covers the whole vehicle, so a group of six shares one car instead of buying six seats.
Request a Quote with your dates.
Which vehicle should a group book for O’Hare?
Executive Transportation runs executive sedans for two to three passengers, luxury SUVs for five to six, Sprinter vans for fourteen, and coaches for parties up to thirty-five. Luggage usually decides it before headcount does, so tell a coordinator how many checked bags are coming as well as how many people.
Compare the full fleet.
Where do international arrivals come out at O’Hare?
Executive Transportation collects international arrivals at Terminal 5, where O’Hare routes passengers through the Customs and Border Protection hall. Travelers who cleared United States preclearance in Canada or Ireland may land at Terminals 1, 2 or 3 instead, so check the terminal on your boarding pass and tell dispatch which building it names.
Read the Terminal 5 guide.
Do you pick up from private jets and charter flights at O’Hare?
Executive Transportation drives the general aviation side of Chicago O’Hare as well as the airline terminals. We meet private, charter and corporate aircraft at the FBO door rather than the airline terminal, load luggage plane-side where the operator allows it, and carry flight crew and passengers on the same booking. One Sprinter carries an entire visiting delegation and its hard cases.
Send the tail number and the operator when you book the chauffeur.
Can you drive from O’Hare to Midway?
Executive Transportation drives O’Hare to Midway and back as a single booking, with the bags staying where you put them. The airport’s free train links its own terminals but it does not reach Midway, and a self-transfer between the two fields eats the connection. Give us both flight numbers when you book.

Book the ride
Request your O’Hare ride
Three things riders tell us made the difference on an O’Hare run.
Quoted by the hour, for the whole car
The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, with the minimum stated in writing before you ride, and the hours are planned around the Chicago approaches. Six people traveling together pay for the car, not for six places in it.
Door to door, no lot and no shuttle
Your chauffeur loads the bags at your door and stops at the terminal door the boarding pass names. No economy lot, no bus, no train ride with a roller bag.
Dispatch answers day and night
Early departures and late landings are most of this work, and somebody picks up the phone at either end of them.
