A new terminal, a short walk, and a chauffeur waiting at baggage claim with your name.

Barkley Regional is a one-building airport with a United Express jet on the ramp and a general aviation apron behind it. Executive Transportation handles the ground half: a uniformed chauffeur at your address, the luggage taken care of, and the same chauffeur at baggage claim when you come back.

Know the airport

What to know about Barkley Regional

Barkley Regional Airport, code PAH, is a single-terminal field in western Kentucky with one commercial operator and a working general aviation ramp. The terminal that stands there now opened in June 2023, and the airport calls it the front porch of the Purchase Region. Private and charter flights use the FBO rather than the building.

One carrier, two nonstop destinations

The airport publishes daily nonstop service with SkyWest Airlines operating as United Express, linking Paducah with Chicago O’Hare and Houston. Almost everyone flying out of here is connecting beyond one of those two, which is why the departure time matters more than the terminal does.

The counter closes half an hour before the flight

The airport asks travelers to arrive at least an hour before a scheduled departure, and it is explicit that the ticket counter closes 30 minutes prior with no exceptions. The checkpoint closes once every checked-in passenger has gone through. A late pickup here is not something the building can absorb.

Parking is steps away, and card only

The lot sits in front of the terminal, so there are no shuttles and no garage levels. Payment is by card or tap at the exit station and no cash is accepted, with Kentucky sales tax added to the posted fees.

Terminal, check-in, parking and general aviation details checked on the airport’s own site, flybarkley.com, on September 17, 2026. Confirm anything time sensitive before you travel.

Departures and arrivals at PAH

One entrance handles both directions. The clock is the only thing that differs.

Departures

Your door to the Barkley Regional terminal

  1. Give a coordinator the flightWe want the carrier, the flight number and the time on the ticket. With one terminal and one counter, nothing else is needed to set the drop.
  2. The pickup is set against a hard cut-offThe counter closes 30 minutes before departure, so we build the pickup to put you inside the hour the airport asks for, with a cushion on top. First flights of the day get an earlier pickup than the arithmetic suggests.
  3. Bags handled at your addressLoading happens on your own driveway, by the chauffeur. Say what is traveling with you when you book, because checked bags and cases are what decide between a sedan and an SUV.
  4. Set down at the terminal entranceThe drop is at the front of the terminal, a short walk from the counter and the checkpoint. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle while the bags come out.

Arrivals

The terminal entrance back to your door

  1. Book the car against the inboundThe flight number and the scheduled arrival are what hold the vehicle. If a connection slips through Chicago or Houston, call dispatch and the pickup moves with it.
  2. Your chauffeur is beside the Barkley Regional beltBaggage comes into the same building you walked out of, and your chauffeur is standing beside the belt with your name before it starts to turn.
  3. The bags are ours to the trunkYour chauffeur takes the luggage and walks you out to the vehicle at the front of the terminal. On a field this size there is no hunting for a lane number and no shuttle to catch.
  4. Late connections still get metThe last inbound of the evening is a common booking here. Dispatch is answered day and night, and the run is held against your flight rather than against office hours.

A schedule change is one phone call. Your car is built around the flight number and the time on the booking, which is why telling us is what moves it rather than anything happening on a screen. Reach dispatch at any hour at (217) 523-5466.

Private jets and charter

Private jet and charter flights at Barkley Regional

Western Kentucky runs a lot of corporate flying, and at Paducah it moves through Four Rivers Aviation rather than the passenger terminal. Executive Transportation meets those aircraft at the FBO door with the same uniformed chauffeur an airline passenger would get.

  • 01

    Pickup at the FBO door

Private and charter arrivals never enter the terminal, so the car waits at the general aviation entrance instead. Out of the aircraft, across a few feet of apron, into the back seat.

  • 02

    Luggage loaded plane-side

Where the operator and the ramp allow it, bags go straight from the hold to the trunk. Where they do not, the handover happens at the FBO door a moment later.

  • 03

    Crew and passengers together

A crew heading to a hotel and passengers heading to a plant or a meeting can travel on one booking, in one vehicle or two, without either party waiting on the other.

  • 04

A Sprinter for the whole aircraft

Fourteen seats and room for hard cases take a full light jet or turboprop load in one vehicle. Anything bigger steps up to a coach, quoted the same way, by the hour for the vehicle.

Why be driven

Four reasons to be driven to PAH

Parking here is cheap, so nobody books a chauffeur to beat the lot. They book one because of the hour the flight leaves and the state the car would be in when they got back.

You are buying the car, not a seat

The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, minimum stated up front, and the hours are built around the parkway the run is known for. A party of four shares one figure, not four seats.

No car left at the airport

A week in the lot is a week of weather, and a drive home at the end of a long travel day. The chauffeur returns you to your own door instead.

Sleep through it or work through it

The back seat is where the call gets taken and the deck gets read, or where you sleep before an early departure. Either way the road is somebody else’s problem.

Uniformed chauffeurs since 2004

Chauffeured airport work has been the trade here since 2004, on fields of every size. The chauffeur arrives uniformed and early, and is inside at baggage claim before you are.

The fleet

Fleet for this run

Barkley Regional transfers are quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so the only question is what the party and the luggage fit into. Headcount and bag count are enough to answer it.

Whichever one you pick, a uniformed chauffeur is at the wheel of it. A stretch limousine seats 8 to 10 when a small group wants to arrive together.

Cities we connect to PAH

Where our Paducah runs start

Executive Transportation drives to Barkley Regional from across Illinois, in both directions, on one quote for the whole vehicle. These are the cities the Paducah work comes from most, and each one has a page of its own.

Each figure below is a clear-road run to the front of the Barkley Regional terminal. Book against the flight rather than the drive, because the counter closes half an hour before departure and that is the deadline the pickup is built around.

Wherever the run begins, you are quoted by the hour for the car and not for the heads inside it.

Park or be driven

Park at PAH, or be driven to it

Barkley Regional publishes one of the friendlier parking tariffs in the region, and the daily maximum falls the longer you stay. Here is what the airport charges before tax.

  • Short stopsFreeThe first 30 minutes cost nothing, which covers a drop-off and a hand with the bags.
  • A week away$10Per day is the maximum for the first seven days, charged at the exit by card or tap.
  • A long trip$7Per day once the stay passes 22 days, with $9 and $8 tiers in the weeks between.

Kentucky sales tax of six percent is added to the posted fees, and the lot takes no cash. See what a chauffeured transfer costs when the car would otherwise sit there.

Airport to airport

Transfers between Paducah and other airports

With two nonstop destinations on the board, a Paducah trip sometimes starts or ends at a different field. Executive Transportation drives that leg in one vehicle.

Each card is the drive between Barkley Regional and the airport named, in either direction. Put the two flight numbers and the two scheduled times on the booking, and one call to dispatch resets the leg if either one shifts.

Two fields, a single chauffeur, and the car quoted once, by the hour.

Paducah questions

What people ask before booking a PAH car

The answers below use the airport’s own published traveler, parking and general aviation guidance, read on flybarkley.com in September 2026, plus our own calibrated drive times.

Where does the chauffeur meet you at Barkley Regional?

Executive Transportation meets arriving passengers at the terminal entrance. Barkley Regional is one building with the parking directly in front of it, so there is no garage level to find and no shuttle to catch. Your chauffeur confirms the vehicle and the spot before you walk out of baggage claim.

See how airport transportation works.

How early should I be picked up for a flight from Paducah?

The airport asks travelers to arrive at least an hour before departure, and the ticket counter closes 30 minutes prior with no exceptions. Executive Transportation builds the pickup backward from your scheduled departure with a cushion on top, so the cut-off is never the thing you are racing.

Call (217) 523-5466 with the flight and we will set the time.

What does parking cost at Paducah airport?

The airport posts a free first 30 minutes, then $2 an hour, with a daily maximum of $10 for the first seven days, falling to $9, $8 and $7 for longer stays. Kentucky sales tax is added, and the exit takes cards only. A chauffeured transfer leaves the car at home entirely.

Request a Quote and compare it against the lot.

What happens if my flight into Paducah is delayed?

Executive Transportation needs a phone call to dispatch the moment you know. Your car sits against the flight number and scheduled arrival from the booking, not against anything happening on a screen at this end, so nothing shifts until somebody tells us. The last inbound of the evening is ordinary work here and the line is staffed for it.

Call (217) 523-5466 to move a booked pickup.

Do you pick up from private jets and charter flights at Paducah?

Executive Transportation drives the general aviation side of Barkley Regional as well as the terminal. We meet private, charter and corporate aircraft at the Four Rivers Aviation FBO door, load plane-side where the operator allows it, and carry crew and passengers on one booking. One Sprinter clears a light jet or turboprop load in a single run.

Send the tail number when you book the chauffeur.

Can you drive from Paducah to St. Louis or Nashville instead?

Executive Transportation drives to the larger fields when the fare or the schedule makes more sense there, and those runs are quoted the same way as a local transfer, by the hour. One vehicle, one chauffeur, and the bags stay where you put them from the first door to the last.

See the airports we drive.

How is the price of a Paducah car service set?

Executive Transportation quotes a Paducah run as hours of a vehicle with its chauffeur, and the minimum hours for Barkley Regional are stated up front in the written quote. The hours the run takes, the vehicle size and whether you need a return leg all move it. One figure covers the whole vehicle, so a group of five shares it instead of buying five seats.

Read the car service cost guide.

Three things that make a PAH transfer straightforward.

  • The counter deadline is built into the pickup

Thirty minutes before departure the counter closes. The pickup time you are given already accounts for that, and for the drive in front of it.

  • The figure is for the car itself

Quoted by the hour with the minimum stated up front, so the hours are planned around the traffic and a group travels on one vehicle, not on separate seats.

  • Dispatch answers day and night

The first departure and the last inbound are both outside office hours. Somebody picks up the phone for either one.
