Cincinnati (CVG) Car Service & Chauffeured Transportation

A permitted vehicle, a lettered concourse, and a chauffeur waiting inside at baggage claim.

CVG sends private cars to its own ground transportation area rather than the front of the terminal, and it requires an airport permit for every commercial vehicle that picks up there. Executive Transportation works to those rules, meets you inside at baggage claim, and takes the luggage.

Know the airport

What to know about Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, code CVG, is the airport people mean when they say they are flying to Cincinnati, and it stands across the Ohio River in Hebron, Kentucky. One terminal, two lettered concourses, and a ground transportation area set deliberately apart from the terminal front. Private jet and charter traffic uses the general aviation facility instead.

In Kentucky, for Cincinnati

The address is Hebron, Kentucky, on the southwest side of the river, and the airport serves greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky as one market. That is why the code is CVG and the name carries both states. Nothing about the drive changes, but a hotel booking on the Ohio side is a different journey from the terminal than one in Florence or Covington, so tell a coordinator the address.

Ticketing upstairs, baggage claim below, concourses A and B

The airport puts all airline and baggage check-in on the Ticketing level. Downstairs, the central hub of baggage claim carries overhead monitors showing the carousel for your flight. Concourse A runs gates A-4 through A-23, and Concourse B runs B-1 through B-12 in one direction and B-13 through B-28 in the other.

Pickups happen at Ground Transport East

CVG sends rideshare, taxis and private car services to Ground Transport East, following the signs from the baggage claim level, and hotel shuttles to Ground Transport West. The airport states plainly that this is away from the front of the terminal. Your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle in the permitted area.

Every commercial vehicle here needs a permit

CVG requires an airport permit for any operator picking up passengers on the field. That is worth knowing when you compare quotes: the cheapest car is not a bargain if it cannot legally collect you. We work to the airport’s own process rather than around it.

Terminal, ground transportation and parking details checked on the airport’s own site, cvgairport.com, on September 17, 2026. CVG revises these pages, so confirm anything time sensitive before you travel.

Departures

Your door to the Ticketing level

  1. Begin with the flight detailsAirline, flight number, scheduled departure, headcount and bag count. That is enough for a coordinator to hold the right vehicle and confirm it back to you.
  2. The pickup works backward from the departureCheck-in advice first, then the run itself, then a cushion for the stretches that actually slow down. What comes back is a single pickup time rather than a range to interpret.
  3. Bags handled at your doorThe chauffeur loads at your address and unloads at the terminal. Nobody wheels a case across a garage deck at five in the morning.
  4. Dropped at the Ticketing levelAll airline and baggage check-in at CVG happens on the Ticketing level, so that is where the car stops. Name the airline at booking and the chauffeur picks the door closest to its counters.

Arrivals

From the carousel to your own driveway

  1. Give us the flight numberPut the flight number and the scheduled arrival on the booking, then call dispatch if either changes. A late connection through a hub is exactly why that phone is answered overnight.
  2. Find your carouselBaggage claim works off a central hub with overhead monitors showing which carousel has your flight. Concourse A and Concourse B both feed the same hall.
  3. Walk out together to Ground Transport EastCVG sends private car services to Ground Transport East, signed from the baggage claim level and set away from the front of the terminal. Your chauffeur meets you at the carousel, takes the bags, and walks you out, so you are not reading signs with luggage in both hands.
  4. The chauffeur is inside before you landThe vehicle sits in the permitted pickup area and your chauffeur is at baggage claim with your name, so nobody is circling the terminal road while you wait for a carousel to start turning.

When the schedule slips, call dispatch. The vehicle is held against the flight number and scheduled time you gave at booking, so a phone call is what changes it. Dispatch picks up whatever the hour at (217) 523-5466.

Private jets and charter

Private jet and charter flights at CVG

CVG built a general aviation facility in 2021 and put customs on site, which makes it a serious option for corporate and international charter. Executive Transportation drives that side of the field as readily as the terminal, with the same uniformed chauffeur and the same held vehicle.

  • 01

    Pickup at the FBO door

Private and charter arrivals are handled at the general aviation facility on Tower Drive rather than the passenger terminal, so none of the Ground Transport rules apply to you. The chauffeur waits at that entrance.

  • 02

    Customs clears where you land

The airport says the facility offers on-demand, onsite United States Customs and Border Protection clearance for private aircraft, which removes the old detour to another field first. The car is sitting there while that happens.

  • 03

    Luggage loaded plane-side

If the ramp and the operator permit it, the cases come off the aircraft and into the car on the spot. If they do not, the handover happens inside the FBO door with the vehicle already waiting.

  • 04

    Crew and passengers together

Crews heading to a hotel and passengers heading to a plant or an office travel on one booking, in one vehicle or two. A Sprinter carries a full delegation and its hard cases in a single run.

The booking wants a tail number, the handling operator and the time you expect on the ground. If customs or weather move that, dispatch takes the call at any hour. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.

Executive Transportation is a ground transportation company. We drive to the aircraft; we do not charter it.

Why be driven

Four reasons to be driven to CVG

An airport with permit rules and a pickup area of its own rewards a company that reads them. Here is what else you get for handing over the driving.

Quoted by the hour, not per person

The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour with the minimum stated up front, and a coordinator builds the hours around river traffic and road work. Six people on the same departure are still buying one car.

A permitted vehicle, at the right door

CVG requires an airport permit to pick up, and sends private cars to a defined area rather than the front of the terminal. Your chauffeur works to that, and walks you out to it from baggage claim.

Rear-seat time is working time

This is a long enough run that the back seat becomes an office. Take the calls, read the file, or sleep before an early departure.

Uniformed chauffeurs since 2004

Airport transfers have been this company’s main work since 2004. Your chauffeur is uniformed, early, and briefed on what CVG permits before the car ever turns onto the airport road.

The fleet

Fleet for this run

Every CVG transfer is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so the only questions are how many people are traveling and what they are bringing. A coordinator settles both in one call.

All of them arrive with a uniformed chauffeur driving. A stretch limousine seats 8 to 10 for a party that wants to arrive together and look like it meant to.

Cities we connect to CVG

Where our CVG runs start

Executive Transportation drives to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International from across Central Illinois, in both directions, on one quote for the whole vehicle. These are the cities the CVG work comes from most, each with a page of its own.

Every figure is a clear-road drive to the terminal, and the clock gains an hour eastbound because CVG keeps Eastern time. Give dispatch the flight and that arithmetic is ours to do.

The starting city changes the drive, not the way the vehicle is quoted.

Park or be driven

Park at CVG, or be driven to it

Cincinnati has one of the wider parking spreads in the region, from a cheap outer lot to a reserved space by the door. Here is what each costs, and what the drive costs first.

  • Cheapest official lot$10Per day in the Economy Lot, with ValuPark at $12. Payment is by credit card only.
  • Terminal garage$23Per day in the Terminal Garage; a premium reserved space is $27 and valet is $35.
  • The drive itself$497.04A Springfield round trip of 654 miles at the IRS business rate of 76 cents a mile, before any parking.

Five days in the Terminal Garage on top of that mileage is about $612, and it still costs you the two days at the wheel. See how a car service is priced before you decide which way to travel.

Parking rates from cvgairport.com, checked September 17, 2026. The round trip figure applies the irs.gov business rate of 76 cents a mile, in force from July 1 to December 31, 2026, to the drive between Springfield and CVG. The chauffeured run is quoted by the hour with the minimum stated up front, so ask a coordinator for the figure rather than working from this one.

Airport to airport

Popular transfers between CVG and other airports

Three usable airports sit within a short drive of each other here, so arriving at one and leaving from another happens constantly. Executive Transportation drives the gap in one vehicle, with the bags left where they are.

Each card is the drive between CVG and the airport named, in either direction. The booking wants both flight numbers and both scheduled times, plus a phone call whenever one of them changes.

One chauffeur across both fields, and a single figure for the vehicle.

What riders say

What riders tell us about the eastbound runs

Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute.

Meghan ForesmanRider review

Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

Jen DeJong · Rider review

The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.

Parris Smith · Rider review

Consumer goods, logistics and healthcare companies all move people through Cincinnati on a repeating calendar, and corporate airport transfers are arranged one flight or one quarter at a time.

When a whole group is flying in for the same event, event transportation puts the arrivals on a single schedule instead of half a dozen.

CVG questions

What people ask before booking a CVG car

The answers below use the airport’s own published guidance, checked on cvgairport.com in September 2026, together with our calibrated drive times.

Is CVG in Ohio or Kentucky?

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport stands in Hebron, Kentucky, and serves greater Cincinnati across the river in Ohio. That is why the name carries both states. Executive Transportation drives to hotels and offices on either side of the river, so give a coordinator the street address rather than just the city.

Ask a coordinator at (217) 523-5466 what your address works out to.

Where does the chauffeur meet you at CVG?

Executive Transportation meets arriving passengers inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the permitted ground transportation area, which the airport signs as Ground Transport East from the baggage claim level and keeps away from the front of the terminal. The bags are ours from the carousel to the trunk.

See how airport transportation works.

Do car services need a permit to pick up at CVG?

CVG states that all operators of commercial vehicles must hold an airport permit to pick up passengers there. Executive Transportation works to the airport’s own process rather than around it, which is worth checking whenever you are comparing a quote that looks unusually cheap.

Call (217) 523-5466 with the flight and the date.

How far ahead should I book a car service to Cincinnati?

Executive Transportation prefers 72 hours’ notice for a CVG transfer and about a week when the party needs a coach. This is a long run into Eastern time, so early departures go first. A coordinator needs the airline, the flight number and the headcount to hold a vehicle.

Call (217) 523-5466 or request a quote.

What happens if my flight into CVG is late?

Executive Transportation sets your car from the flight number on the booking rather than from a screen, so one call to dispatch is what moves it. During the wait your chauffeur sits in the free cell phone lot the airport keeps beside the terminal road. The phone is answered at any hour.

Call (217) 523-5466 to move a booked pickup.

How is the price for a CVG car service set?

Executive Transportation prices a CVG run by the hour, vehicle and chauffeur together, and the minimum number of hours is written into the quote before you ride. The drive east, the hour the car has to be at your door and whether a return leg is attached all set the hours, and the vehicle class sets the rate. Because the car is the unit, six travelers share one figure between them.

Request a Quote with your dates.

Which vehicle should a group book for CVG?

Executive Transportation seats two or three in a sedan, five or six in an SUV, fourteen in a Sprinter and up to thirty-five on a coach. The checked bags usually settle the answer before the headcount does, so hand a coordinator both numbers and let them pick.

Compare the full fleet.

Do you pick up from private jets and charter flights at CVG?

Executive Transportation drives the general aviation facility at CVG as well as the passenger terminal. We meet private, charter and corporate aircraft at the FBO door on Tower Drive, where the airport says customs clearance is available on site, load plane-side where the ramp allows it, and carry crew and passengers on one booking.

Three things riders point at after a Cincinnati run.

  • The whole car, one figure

The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, with the minimum named up front, and the hours are planned around the road. Six travelers pay the one figure.

  • A permitted car, at the right doors

CVG has rules about who may pick up and where. Your chauffeur works to them and tells you where to walk out.

  • Dispatch answers day and night

The first bank out and the last bank in account for most of these bookings, and the phone is answered at both.
