Milwaukee, Wisconsin · Chauffeured airport transfers
Milwaukee Mitchell (MKE) Car Service & Chauffeured Transportation
One terminal, two concourses, and a chauffeur at the carousel before your bags reach it.
Mitchell is a simple airport to fly out of and a fussy one to be collected from, because the taxi stand, the rideshare posts and the commercial vehicles all work off different doors. Executive Transportation sends a uniformed chauffeur to your door, handles the luggage, and sets it down at the terminal entrance your airline uses.

Know the airport
What to know about Milwaukee Mitchell
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, code MKE, runs everything out of one main terminal building and then splits the gates between Concourse C and Concourse D. International arrivals are the exception and come into a separate building north of the parking structure. Private and charter flights touch neither: they work off the general aviation ramp on the Layton Avenue side.
One terminal building, two lettered concourses
Ticketing, security and the shops all sit under one roof, and the gates fan out from there. The airport’s own general information page lists Concourse C as gates C9 through C25 and Concourse D as gates D27 through D56. For a departing passenger that means the drop is the same door whichever airline is on the ticket, and the only walk that matters starts inside.
International arrivals land at a different building
Mitchell states that all international flight arrivals except the Toronto flights come into the International Arrivals Terminal, north of the parking structure. A free shuttle runs from there to the main terminal and the parking lots, picking up outside the main doors of that building, and the airport keeps a small parking area in front of it for people collecting international passengers. Tell a coordinator you are landing from abroad and the car goes to that address instead.
Where your chauffeur is when you land
Mitchell publishes its pickup points by mode. Taxis work from the station outside Baggage Claim 3, across the baggage claim roadway and behind the rental car area, and rideshare drivers follow the signs near Carousel 2. None of that is your problem: your chauffeur is inside at baggage claim with your name, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle in the designated commercial vehicle pickup area.
Give us the airline, not the concourse letter
Gate assignments move between C and D, and the letter printed on an itinerary weeks ago is not always the one you leave from. The airline and the flight number are what a reservation coordinator actually needs. Those two decide which entrance we use on the way out and which carousel the chauffeur stands at on the way back.
Terminal, pickup and parking details checked on the airport’s own site, mitchellairport.com, on September 17, 2026. Mitchell revises these pages, so confirm anything time sensitive before you travel.

Departures and arrivals at Mitchell
One terminal door on the way out, a chauffeur at the carousel on the way back in.
Departures
Your door to the Mitchell terminal
- Send the flight detailsAirline, flight number, scheduled departure and whether bags are being checked. That is enough for a coordinator to hold a vehicle against your name.
- We work the pickup backward from the departureYour airline’s own arrival window comes first, then the run itself, then a cushion for the weekday buildup on the approach. What you get back is a pickup time, not a range.
- Luggage handled at both endsThe chauffeur is out of the car and loading before you reach the trunk, and unloads at the terminal door rather than leaving you to wrestle a case out of a trunk.
- Dropped at the entrance nearest your airlineMitchell keeps every airline under one roof, so the drop is simply the terminal door closest to your concourse. Name the airline when you book and the chauffeur picks the entrance.
Arrivals
Off the carousel and into the car
- Give us the flight numberFlight number and scheduled arrival when you book, and a call to dispatch if either moves. Somebody answers that phone at three in the morning, which is when this matters.
- Your chauffeur is on the Mitchell baggage claim levelThe carousels sit on the baggage claim level, and your chauffeur is standing at the one holding your flight, with your name, before the first case comes around.
- We take the bags and walk you outTaxis run from the station outside Baggage Claim 3 and rideshare from the posts near Carousel 2. You use neither. Your chauffeur takes the luggage off the belt and walks you to the vehicle in the designated commercial vehicle pickup area.
- International arrivals are collected elsewhereComing in from abroad, you clear at the International Arrivals Terminal north of the parking structure. The car meets you in the small parking area the airport keeps in front of that building, so you never need the shuttle back to the main terminal.
Private jets and charter
Private jet and charter flights at Mitchell
Plenty of what lands at Mitchell never sees a concourse. Executive Transportation drives the general aviation side of the field the same way it drives the terminal: one uniformed chauffeur, one vehicle held for your tail number, and a car already sitting there when the stairs come down.
- 01
Pickup at the FBO door
Private and charter traffic at Mitchell works through the fixed base operator rather than the passenger terminal, so your chauffeur waits at the FBO door rather than the airline terminal. No carousel, no taxi lane, no walk through a building you were never going to use.
- 02
Luggage loaded plane-side
Where the operator and the ramp allow it, cases go from the hold straight into the car beside the aircraft. Where they do not, the bags move at the FBO door instead and the chauffeur is already standing at it.
- 03
Flight crew and passengers on one reservation
The flight crew needs a hotel and the passengers need an office, usually within the same half hour. We carry both on a single booking, in one vehicle or two, so nobody waits for a car to come back around for them.
- 04
One Sprinter holds the whole cabin
An aircraft full of executives fits one Sprinter, with room to stand while hard cases go in. Larger groups move up to a coach. Either size is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, not per seat.
Where general aviation runs at Mitchell
- Signature923 East Layton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53207The fixed base operator on the general aviation side of the field, northeast of the passenger terminal. Signature lists the facility as staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which is what a charter landing before dawn needs.
Book it with the tail number, the operator and the block time you expect on the ground, then call dispatch the moment any of it shifts. That line is staffed overnight, which is when charter schedules usually move. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
Executive Transportation is a ground transportation company. We drive to the aircraft; we do not charter it.

Why be driven
Four reasons to be driven to Mitchell
The case for a chauffeur on this run is not glamour. It is the four things that go wrong when you drive yourself to an airport you only use twice a year.
Quoted for the car, not the seat
The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, with the minimum stated up front, and a coordinator builds the hours around the construction the approach is known for. Five colleagues share one figure.
No lot, no shuttle, no ticket to lose
Nobody hunts for a space in the Saver Lot at five in the morning or rides a bus with a roller bag. Your cases go in at the house and come back out at the entrance your airline uses.
The trip is working time
Most of our riders bill the hours they spend in the back seat. Take the call, read the deck, or sleep before an early departure. Somebody else owns the road.
Chauffeurs who have done this run
We have been running airport work since 2004. Chauffeurs turn up early and in uniform, and they already know where Mitchell expects a commercial vehicle to stand.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
The fleet
Fleet for this run
Every Mitchell transfer is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so the only real question is which one your party and its luggage fit into. Say how many are traveling and how many cases are going in the back, and a coordinator names it.

Where our Mitchell runs start
Executive Transportation drives to Milwaukee Mitchell from across Central Illinois, in both directions, on one quote for the whole vehicle. These are the cities the Milwaukee work comes from most often, and each one has its own page.
The figures below are clear-road drives to the terminal. Give dispatch the flight rather than the drive: the pickup is built backward from your departure, and the run up through the interchanges carries more traffic on a weekday morning.
Calibrated clear-road figures. Treat them as the floor rather than a promise. We also collect from Jacksonville, Lincoln, Taylorville and any address between them.
The starting city changes the hours, not the way the car is quoted.
Park or be driven
Park at Mitchell, or be driven to it
Parking is the number travelers check first and the one that matters least by the end of a trip. Here is what Milwaukee County charges, and what the drive costs before anybody parks anything.
- Cheapest official lot$11Per day in the Saver Lot, plus the shuttle ride to the terminal at either end.
- Closest option$27Per day in the Hourly garage. The Daily and Surface lots sit at $18, valet at $28.
- The drive itself$407.36A Springfield round trip of 536 miles at the IRS business rate of 76 cents a mile, before a dollar of parking is paid.
Four days in the Saver Lot on top of that mileage is about $451, and the parking line keeps growing while you are away. See how a car service is actually quoted and compare the two numbers yourself.
Get a quote for the whole vehicleParking rates from mitchellairport.com, checked September 17, 2026. The 536-mile Mitchell round trip is costed at the irs.gov business rate of 76 cents a mile for July 1 to December 31, 2026. We quote transfers by the hour with a minimum stated up front, so ask a coordinator for a number rather than working from this one.

Airport to airport
Popular transfers between Mitchell and other airports
Fares and schedules rarely line up on one field. When the outbound leaves from Milwaukee and the return lands somewhere else, Executive Transportation drives the gap in one vehicle.
Each card is the drive between Mitchell and the airport named, in either direction. Put both flight numbers and both scheduled times on the reservation, and tell dispatch when one of them changes.
Clear-road figures. The approaches into Chicago are the one variable these numbers do not carry.
Both fields go on one Mitchell booking, and the figure you get back covers the car.
What riders say
What riders actually tell us
Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute.
The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.
Our group of 7 needed a ride from Chicago O’Hare to Springfield. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.
Manufacturers and trade groups run the same people through Milwaukee season after season, and corporate airport transfers are arranged one flight, one team or one quarter at a time.
Conference organizers booking a room block on Lake Michigan usually need the airport legs to match, which is what event transportation is for.
Mitchell questions
What people ask before booking an MKE car
The answers below use Milwaukee Mitchell’s own published guidance, checked on mitchellairport.com in September 2026, and our own calibrated drive times.
How far ahead should I book a car service to Milwaukee Mitchell?
Executive Transportation prefers 72 hours’ notice for a Mitchell transfer, and roughly a week when the party needs a coach. Call anytime: short-notice trips depend on what is free in the fleet, and the pre-dawn departures go first. A coordinator needs the flight, the airline and the headcount to hold a vehicle.
Call (217) 523-5466 or request a quote.
Where does the chauffeur meet you at MKE?
Executive Transportation meets arriving passengers inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle. Mitchell publishes a taxi station outside Baggage Claim 3 and rideshare posts near Carousel 2, but nothing livery-specific, which is why your chauffeur is at the carousel rather than at a door you would have to find.
See how airport transportation works.
What happens if my flight into Milwaukee is late?
Executive Transportation asks you to call dispatch the moment you know. The vehicle is set from the flight number and scheduled arrival you gave us at booking rather than from a screen we watch, so a phone call is what moves it. Somebody answers 24 hours a day, including the small hours.
Call (217) 523-5466 to move a booked pickup.
Where do international arrivals come out at Milwaukee Mitchell?
Executive Transportation collects international arrivals at the International Arrivals Terminal, which Mitchell places north of the parking structure and uses for every international flight except Toronto. The airport keeps a small parking area in front of that building for pickups, so the car meets you there instead of the main terminal.
Tell dispatch at booking, or send the flight details.
How is the price for an MKE car service set?
Executive Transportation prices an MKE car service as hours of vehicle and chauffeur, and the Mitchell quote states its minimum hours up front in writing. The hours the run takes, the vehicle size and whether you want one leg or a return are what move it. One figure covers the whole vehicle, so six colleagues share it rather than buying six seats.
Request a Quote with your dates.
Which vehicle should a group book for Milwaukee?
Executive Transportation sizes the vehicle off the luggage first and the headcount second. A sedan takes two or three people, an SUV five or six, a Sprinter fourteen, and a coach up to thirty-five. Tell a coordinator how many checked bags are coming and the choice tends to make itself.
Compare the full fleet.
Do you pick up from private jets and charter flights at Milwaukee Mitchell?
Executive Transportation drives the general aviation side of Mitchell as well as the terminal. We meet private, charter and corporate aircraft at the FBO door on Layton Avenue, load luggage plane-side where the operator allows it, and carry flight crew and passengers on one booking. A Sprinter takes a whole party in a single vehicle.
Send the tail number when you book the chauffeur.
Can you drive from Milwaukee Mitchell to O’Hare or Madison?
Executive Transportation drives Mitchell to Chicago O’Hare, Chicago Executive and Dane County Regional as single bookings, with the luggage staying exactly where you put it. Self-transferring between two fields with bags eats the connection and the fare savings with it. Both flight numbers belong on the reservation, and dispatch builds the gap around them.
