Employee, Hotel and Event Shuttle Services: Scheduled Shuttles for Business
A shuttle is a timetable with a vehicle attached, and the timetable is the part we write.
A shuttle here is a scheduled loop: one vehicle and one uniformed chauffeur reserved for your group, repeating the stops you set until the last person has moved. Employers, hotels, campuses and conference organizers book it by the hour.

What a shuttle is here
What a corporate shuttle service actually is
The honest definition first, because the word covers two different products. This is not a shared public van collecting whoever happens to be waiting outside. It is one vehicle and one chauffeur reserved by your organization, running a route you chose, for hours you booked.
A loop, and not a single journey
A shuttle booking buys a block of time rather than a trip. The vehicle runs the same short circuit again and again, so the eighth lap costs what the first one did and no leg is quoted separately.
Your stops, and an interval you can publish
Give a coordinator the stop list and how often people need a vehicle at each one. That comes back as departure times against stops, and the printed version reaches your front desk or your organizer before the first lap runs.
One chauffeur, who learns the circuit
The same uniformed chauffeur works the block, so by the third lap the timing is exact and the awkward turn into the service entrance has stopped being awkward.
Stop lists, intervals and how long a loop stays out are settled on the booking rather than on this page, because they change with the site. Ask a reservation coordinator about invoicing and receipts for your company. A single movement that never repeats belongs on the charter bus page instead.
How a loop is planned
Stops, interval, and the sheet the dispatcher works from
A shuttle is either invisible or it is the thing everyone complains about, and the difference is decided a week earlier.
The plan
Building the loop
- Count the people and the windowTwo hundred guests across ninety minutes is a different loop from forty staff at a shift change. Both come before any vehicle is named.
- Fix the stops and the directionTwo stops or five, and whether the circuit runs one way or doubles back. Stops in a line almost always want the one way version.
- Set the interval between departuresOne lap, plus the loading time at every stop, is the shortest interval a single vehicle can hold. That figure is worked out with you, not guessed at.
- Add a vehicle when the count needs itIf people have to move more often than one lap allows, the loop takes two vehicles. A coordinator says so while quoting rather than letting a line form on the day.
The day
What the dispatcher is holding
- A sheet of times against stopsEvery departure printed against every stop. Your front desk holds a copy, your organizer holds a copy, and the chauffeur is working from the same one.
- Departures run to the clock, not to the loadA vehicle leaves at the time on the sheet whether it holds four people or twenty-four, because a loop that waits for a full load stops being one.
- The plan flexes while the loop runsA session that lets out early is one phone call. Dispatch tightens the circuit or brings the second vehicle in.
- The last departure is on the sheet tooThe hour the loop finishes is agreed in advance, so nobody is standing outside at midnight wondering whether one more is coming.

Why be driven
What changes a shuttle service quote
No loop rate is published here, because a three hour arrival window and a fourteen hour operating day are not the same booking. Four things set the figure, and all four are named in the written reply.
The hours the loop stays out
A shuttle is held by the hour against a minimum, stated before you commit. Hours are the first and largest input into the figure.
How many vehicles the interval needs
One vehicle can hold an interval equal to a lap plus loading. Ask for anything shorter and the honest answer is a second vehicle, quoted on the same basis as the first.
What the tightest stop can take
A coach cannot turn into every service entrance, and an SUV cannot clear a lobby of two hundred. Some loops are a coach on the long leg and a van on the short one.
The date and the hours of the day
Early shift and overnight windows, contested weekends and conference season all move the figure, because a region holds a finite number of vehicles and chauffeurs.
We prefer 72 hours’ notice, but call anytime. Short-notice trips depend on availability.
The fleet
Which vehicle runs the loop
Two numbers pick the vehicle: how many people have to move per lap, and what the tightest stop on the circuit can physically accept.
Shuttle Coach
Twenty-two to thirty-five seats over a luggage bay, with a center aisle. The default when a lobby has to clear in one pass.
View vehicle
Sprinter Van
Fourteen seats, a standing aisle and a turning circle that fits a hotel portico. Usually the second vehicle when an interval halves.

Limousine Coach
Groups of 25 to 30 in one leather cabin, for the loop that also has to read as the welcome to an evening.

Loops of 5 to 6
A short circuit between two buildings does not need a coach. Five or six at a time, moving continuously, often clears more people than one big vehicle.

Cities where companies run a shuttle
Loop work concentrates wherever a lot of people have to reach the same door inside the same hour. The line under each city names the sort of site that books one there.
Each city page writes out the pickup points these circuits call at, and the whole roster sits on the service area hub.
Springfield loops are booked the same way and are covered on the home page. A single group movement that never repeats is a charter rather than a shuttle.
Send the stop list for any of them and the loop is quoted on the same basis.

What riders say
What organizers say
Executive Transportation saved the day after another bus company fell through last minute. Executive Transportation was incredibly responsive and was able to secure us a bus quickly. Our driver Andrew arrived on time and got us safely to and from our event.
The scheduling process was seamless, and the timely pickup from Bloomington airport made my journey stress-free.
Executive Transportation was easy to work with and very reliable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.
One movement with nothing repeating after it is a charter bus booking, and a conference week usually needs both written onto the same reservation.
Travelers arriving one at a time go through corporate airport transfers, and every business service is listed on the corporate transportation hub.
Shuttle questions
What offices ask before booking a shuttle
Written for whoever has to publish the times. Pickup points live on the city pages.
What is a corporate shuttle service?
A corporate shuttle service is one vehicle and one uniformed chauffeur reserved by an organization and run on a repeating route between stops that organization chose. Nobody outside the group boards it, there is no public timetable, and the booking holds hours of the vehicle rather than seats on it.
Send a stop list to see a figure.
How much does a shuttle service cost?
Executive Transportation quotes a loop instead of publishing a rate. The figure follows the hours the vehicle is held, how many vehicles the interval requires, the class of vehicle each stop can take, and the date. A minimum number of hours applies and is stated before anything is committed.
Call (217) 523-5466 with the window and the count.
How do you work out how many shuttles we need?
Drive the circuit once and add the loading time at every stop. That total is the shortest interval a single vehicle can hold. If your count needs people moved more often than that, the loop takes a second vehicle, and a coordinator says so while quoting rather than on the morning itself.
Send the stops and the arithmetic comes back with the figure.
Can you run an employee shuttle between a parking lot and a plant?
Yes, and shift work is some of the steadiest loop work there is. A vehicle runs the circuit across the shift change, stands down between peaks or keeps circulating, and the times are published to staff beforehand. Early morning and overnight windows are ordinary rather than exceptional.
Ask dispatch at (217) 523-5466.
Do you provide hotel shuttles for guests and conference groups?
Yes. A hotel or conference shuttle runs between the lobby, the venue and any overflow block on a printed schedule the front desk can hand across the counter. Three hotel blocks feeding one convention floor is a normal circuit, often a coach on the long leg and a van on the short one.
Is the shuttle shared with other companies or with the public?
No. The vehicle and the chauffeur are reserved by your organization for the hours booked, so the only people boarding are the ones you sent. That is the difference between this and a shared airport van, and it is why the departure times belong to you rather than to somebody else.
Call (217) 523-5466 to reserve a loop.
How far ahead should a shuttle be booked?
About a week for one vehicle, and longer for a conference week or anything needing several, because a region holds a finite number of coaches and chauffeurs. The desk is staffed overnight, so a short notice loop is never refused on principle. It depends on what is still uncommitted.

Three things organizers mention after the first loop has run.
Nobody stands there wondering
A printed departure time at every stop ends the question that otherwise reaches the front desk forty times an hour.
The interval is worked out, not guessed
Lap time plus loading gives the interval, the interval gives the vehicle count, and you see both before you commit.
One figure, however many laps
The vehicle is held by the hour, so the tenth run costs what the first did and nothing is added at the end of the day.
