Prom & Homecoming Limo and Car Service

The evening runs to the times you set, and the same chauffeur brings them home.

Prom and homecoming transportation is a chauffeured vehicle held for one group for a set block of hours, on an itinerary the parent booking it agrees in advance. Sedans and SUVs carry a couple, a stretch limousine and coaches carry the group of friends.

What is included

What a prom or homecoming booking with Executive Transportation includes

The booking is a vehicle, a chauffeur and a written schedule. Everything a parent wants to know is in that schedule: who is collected, where they go, and what time they are back.

The times are set with whoever books

We set the pickup and the return times with the parent who books, and the chauffeur follows that itinerary. Photographs at one house, the venue at another, home at an hour you name, all written on the reservation before the day.

The group travels in one vehicle

Eight to ten friends ride the stretch limousine, a classic stretched sedan with leather seating; a larger group takes a limousine coach. One vehicle means one set of parents waiting at one address rather than four separate drives across town.

A uniformed chauffeur, both ways

The same professional chauffeur drives out and drives back, stays with the vehicle through the hours you booked, and is reachable through dispatch the whole evening. A sedan or SUV covers a couple who would rather not ride with a group.

Capacities on this page are the ones printed on the fleet pages, and what a chauffeured vehicle costs by the hour is worked through on the limousine cost guide. Anything you want added to the itinerary is a question for a coordinator, not an assumption.

How the evening goes

Photographs, the venue, and the hour they are back

Two halves, both of them agreed before anyone puts a dress on. The second half is the one that makes a parent comfortable, so it is the one written down most carefully.

Before the dance

Collected where the photographs happen

  1. The parent booking it sets the hoursPickup time, any stop on the way, and the hour everyone is home. Those three go on the reservation and the chauffeur drives to them.
  2. One address for the groupPhotographs usually happen at a single house or a park. That is the collection point, and the vehicle is there before the time you gave.
  3. A stop for dinner if you want oneA restaurant on the way is an extra address on the itinerary rather than an improvised detour. Say so when you book and it is quoted with the rest.
  4. Set down at the venue doorThe chauffeur sets down where the venue lets a vehicle stand, then confirms where he will be later so nobody is hunting a dark lot.

After the dance

The return that was booked before they left

  1. The vehicle is held for the blockIt is not dispatched elsewhere and rehired. The hours you booked are the hours it belongs to your group.
  2. Collected at the agreed pointThe same spot named on the way in, at the time on the reservation, with the same chauffeur who drove them out.
  3. Changes go through dispatchIf the evening ends earlier or later than planned, the parent who booked it calls and the schedule is adjusted. Somebody answers at midnight.
  4. Home, at the hour you namedStraight back to the addresses on the itinerary. No extra stops that were not booked, because the chauffeur drives what is written.

April and May Saturdays are the tightest dates of the year. This site’s own cost guide says it plainly: on those nights availability binds before price does. Ask what is open on (217) 523-5466.

Why be driven

How the quote for a school dance is built

This site publishes no rate. An evening is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, with the minimum number of hours stated up front, and nothing in the figure is how many teenagers are in the seats.

The hours you hold the vehicle

An evening booking holds the vehicle from pickup to return, quoted by the hour with the minimum up front. A four hour block and an eight hour block are different figures.

Which vehicle the group needs

A sedan for two and a limousine coach for thirty are not close in cost. Headcount picks the vehicle and the vehicle moves the number.

The date itself

Saturdays in April and May commit most of the fleet in this region, so those dates are quoted against what is genuinely still free.

How to book it

Send the date, the addresses and the headcount, or call dispatch. Spring dates go early and short notice depends on availability.

The fleet

Which vehicle for the evening

Headcount decides it, and so does whether the group wants room to spread out or simply to arrive together.

A uniformed chauffeur comes with each of them, and one reservation can hold two vehicles.

Where we serve it

Cities where we drive school dances

Eight cities carry most of this work, and each card opens that city’s own page, where the pickup points and the runs out of it are written out. No school is named on this site, because the booking follows the addresses a parent gives us.

Every city with a page of its own is on the service area hub, and a venue an hour past the last card is still an ordinary booking.

Springfield evenings are booked the same way and quoted the same way; the limo service page answers the Springfield search, and the vehicles are the same ones.

Give us the addresses and the hours, and the rest is arithmetic.

Executive Transportation was incredibly responsive and was able to secure us a bus quickly.

Meghan Foresman · Rider review

Our driver was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely hire them again.

Jen DeJong · Rider review

The same vehicles and the same chauffeurs run concert and game day bookings, which is where most of the evening work on the calendar comes from.

Questions parents ask

What parents ask before booking a school dance

These answers hold for any date and any venue. Anything specific to your evening is a question for a coordinator, and dispatch is staffed around the clock.

How much is a limo for prom?

Executive Transportation quotes the evening by the hour for the whole vehicle, with the minimum stated up front, rather than posting a rate. Three things decide the figure: how many hours you hold the vehicle, which vehicle the group needs, and the date. Saturdays in April and May are the tightest of the year, so those are quoted against what is genuinely free.

Send the date and headcount or call (217) 523-5466.

How many friends fit in one limousine?

A stretch limousine seats 8 to 10 with leather seating, a Sprinter van seats 14 in forward facing seats, and a limousine coach carries 25 to 30. A couple traveling alone usually takes an executive sedan for 2 to 3 or a luxury SUV for 5 to 6.

Compare them all on the fleet page.

Who books it, a parent or a student?

A parent books it in almost every case, and that is the person dispatch deals with. We set the pickup and return times with the parent who books, the itinerary goes on the reservation, and the chauffeur follows it. Several families often split one vehicle and one quote.

Call (217) 523-5466 to set the times.

What time will they be brought home?

The hour you put on the reservation. The vehicle is held for the block you book rather than dispatched elsewhere in the middle of it, and the return point is agreed before they are set down. If the evening ends early or runs late, whoever booked it calls dispatch.

Dispatch answers at (217) 523-5466 at any hour.

Can we add photograph and dinner stops to the itinerary?

Yes. Extra addresses belong on the reservation, where they are planned and quoted with everything else rather than improvised on the night. A house for photographs, a restaurant before the venue and a different address on the way home are all ordinary requests.

An hourly block suits that: see hourly chauffeur service.

How far in advance should we book a spring date?

As early as the date is announced. This site’s own cost guide puts it plainly: on those Saturdays availability binds before price does, because a region holds a fixed number of vehicles and one evening commits most of them. Short notice depends on what is left.

Read the limousine cost guide first.

Is the vehicle shared with another group?

No. One group rides per vehicle, the route is the addresses on your itinerary, and nobody else is collected along the way. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle through the hours you booked, so it is there when the group comes out.

Request a Quote for your own vehicle.

Do you drive homecoming as well as prom?

Yes, and the booking is identical: a vehicle, a chauffeur and an itinerary agreed with whoever is paying. Homecoming falls in the autumn, when the fleet is under less pressure than it is in the spring, so there is usually more choice of vehicle on the date.

Ask what is open at (217) 523-5466.

Three things the parent who books it usually cares about.

  • The itinerary is agreed with you

Pickup, stops and the hour home are settled before the date and written on the reservation.

  • One vehicle, one chauffeur

The same uniformed chauffeur drives out and back, and stays with the vehicle in between.

  • One figure to divide

The quote covers the whole vehicle, so several families can split it however they agree.
