Kentucky Airport Car Service & Chauffeured Transportation

Four Kentucky fields, including the one everybody calls Cincinnati.

Executive Transportation drives chauffeured transfers to and from the Kentucky airports below, and the leg back when the trip returns. One of them publishes exactly where a pre-arranged car waits, which is rarer than it ought to be.

Kentucky airports

Four Kentucky fields with a page of their own

Two of these serve metro areas that spill over a state line, and the other two are single terminal fields where the departure time matters far more than the building does.

The line under each code is a rule or a figure the airport publishes itself. Every other field on the roster is on the airports hub.

CVG carries Cincinnati in its name and stands at Hebron on the Kentucky bank, so it is counted here. The two Ohio fields are on the Ohio page.

One reservation covers any of the four.

What the work looks like

What chauffeured car service to a Kentucky airport involves

Kentucky rewards a caller who says which field and which building, because two of these airports have a published answer waiting.

Louisville tells you where the car is

The airport states that customers with pre-arranged pickups are collected at the yellow pickup zone just outside the lower-level baggage claim, with ride apps sent elsewhere. Drop-offs go to the upper level by the ticket counters. See airport transportation.

The Cincinnati field works on a permit

CVG sends taxis, ride apps and private car services to Ground Transport East, away from the terminal frontage, and requires an airport permit from any operator collecting passengers. A cheaper vehicle that cannot lawfully meet you is not a saving.

The small fields run on the clock

Barkley Regional closes its counter half an hour before a departure with no exceptions, and asks for an hour beforehand. A pickup built backwards from that is ordinary chauffeur service, and it is the whole job here.

Each airport rule above was read on that airport’s own site and carries its date on the airport page. Confirm the flight itself with the airline before you travel.

The fleet

Which vehicle for a Kentucky run

Give a coordinator the headcount and the case count. On a long leg the second number decides the class more often than the first.

Eight to ten ride the stretch limousine, and every class comes with a uniform in the front.

What riders say

One rider on the drive itself

I am one of the unfortunate humans that is constantly getting car sick, but my experience with Carl was the biggest sigh of relief. Zero car sick, zero worries.

Kentucky questions

What callers ask about Kentucky airport transportation

Five answers about the state, including the CVG one.

Do you drive anywhere in Kentucky?

Executive Transportation drives chauffeured trips to and from Kentucky addresses, and four Kentucky airports each carry a page here. No Kentucky city has a page of its own yet, which changes nothing about a booking: the quote follows the street address given.

Ask a coordinator at (217) 523-5466.

Is Cincinnati airport really in Kentucky?

Yes. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International stands at Hebron, on the Kentucky bank of the Ohio river, which is why its code is CVG and why the name carries both states. Nothing about the drive changes, but a hotel on the Ohio side is a different journey.

See the CVG page.

Where does the chauffeur wait at Louisville?

Inside at the lower-level baggage claim, then a few steps out to the yellow pickup zone, which is where the airport sends pre-arranged pickups, while ride app passengers are sent out the side doors instead. Until you have your bags the vehicle holds in the Express Shuttle Lot.

Call (217) 523-5466 if the flight moves.

How is a Kentucky airport transfer priced?

One figure covers the vehicle and the chauffeur together, quoted by the hour with a minimum number of hours stated up front, and nobody buys a place in it. The hours the run takes, the class of vehicle and any stop along the way set that figure, and it is in writing before departure.

See how a quote is built.

Do you pick up private jet and charter flights in Kentucky?

Yes. Every field here keeps general aviation on its own ramp away from the airline terminal, so the vehicle waits at the FBO door, where the aircraft parks. Send the operator, the tail number and the scheduled arrival with the booking.

Read private jet shuttle.

Book the ride

Request a Kentucky airport ride

Three things riders on these fields tell us.

  • The pickup spot is settled before you land

Two of these airports publish where a hired car goes, and the chauffeur is already at it.

  • The permit is somebody else’s problem

CVG requires one from every operator collecting passengers, which is a question you never have to ask.

  • The figure is written first

The hours are built from the flight and the drive, and the quote is agreed before departure.
