Fort Wayne Airport (FWA) Car Service & Chauffeured Transportation

An airport that asks you not to leave a car unattended. So we do not leave one.

Fort Wayne is a comfortable airport to fly from and a strict one about unattended cars, which is exactly the sort of rule a chauffeur exists to absorb. Executive Transportation loads at your door, stops at the terminal door with somebody in the vehicle throughout, and meets private and charter aircraft at the Aero Center on the other side of the field.

Know the airport

What to know about Fort Wayne International

Fort Wayne International Airport, code FWA, is a single passenger terminal with a general aviation terminal sitting across from it. Nothing about the building is hard. The two things worth reading in advance are what the airport asks of a car parked next to the terminal, and how early the airlines want you there.

Somebody has to stay with the car at the terminal

The airport is direct about this: for security reasons someone must remain with the car at all times while it is parked next to the terminal. If your driver wants to help you inside, the airport lets them park in the short or long term lots for 30 minutes at no charge. A chauffeur handles both halves of that without you thinking about it.

Ninety minutes, and two hours on Allegiant

Fort Wayne publishes the airlines’ own guidance: arrive 90 minutes before a scheduled departure, and 120 minutes if you are flying Allegiant. Those two numbers are what a reservation coordinator works backward from when setting the pickup.

Where your chauffeur will be waiting

The airport names the taxi and limousine operators permitted to work here and lets rideshare drop off and pick up, but it publishes no separate livery lane, door or lot. So your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage and walks you out to the vehicle, and you never stand outside looking for a car.

The lots read your plate and do not take cash

Fort Wayne runs license plate reader technology in its parking and accepts credit or debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash is not accepted anywhere in the lots, which catches out more travelers than you would expect.

Parking, terminal and arrival guidance checked on the Fort Wayne Airport Authority’s own site, fwairport.com, on September 17, 2026, along with the general aviation page. Fort Wayne edits those pages without announcing it, so anything time sensitive is worth a second look before you fly.

Departures and arrivals at Fort Wayne

One terminal, one door, and a rule about unattended vehicles that a chauffeur simply removes.

Departures

Your door to the FWA terminal

  1. Give us the flightAirline, flight number and the scheduled departure. If you are flying Allegiant say so, because the airline asks for a longer window than the rest and the pickup moves accordingly.
  2. We count backward from the airline windowThe airport publishes 90 minutes as the standard arrival window and 120 on Allegiant. That number, plus the run east, plus a cushion, is the pickup time.
  3. Bags at your doorThe chauffeur is out and loading before you reach the trunk, at a house, an office or a hotel entrance, and again at the terminal.
  4. Terminal door, with the chauffeur in the vehicleFort Wayne asks that somebody remain with a car parked next to the terminal. Your chauffeur unloads at the departures entrance and stays with the vehicle, so nothing is left on its own.

Arrivals

The terminal back to your door

  1. Put the flight on the reservationPut the flight number and the scheduled arrival on the booking, and call if either moves. Somebody answers the phone at any hour, which is what a late inbound needs.
  2. Claim your bagsBaggage claim is inside the same building you landed in. There is no connector, no train and no second terminal to find.
  3. The chauffeur is at baggage claimNo dedicated livery lane is published here, so your chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim with your name, takes the luggage and walks you out to the vehicle.
  4. Straight out, no lot and no plate readerYou walk with your chauffeur to a waiting car rather than to a shuttle and a parking gate. The card reader and the daily maximum belong to somebody else’s evening.

Tell us when the flight slips. The vehicle stands against whatever flight number and time went onto the reservation, which is why the change has to come from you rather than from a screen on our side. Somebody answers (217) 523-5466 at any hour of the night.

Private jets and charter

Private jet and charter flights at Fort Wayne International

Fort Wayne puts its general aviation terminal directly across from the passenger building, which makes a private arrival here about as simple as this work gets. Executive Transportation drives that side of the field with the same vehicles and the same uniformed chauffeurs.

  • 01

    Pickup at the FBO door

Your chauffeur waits at the Aero Center door rather than the airline terminal. None of the terminal rules apply over there, and nobody walks through a building they were never going to use.

  • 02

    Luggage loaded plane-side

Where the operator and the ramp permit it, the luggage goes straight from the hold to the trunk and no case is carried anywhere. Where they do not, the handover is at the FBO door with the car waiting.

  • 03

The hotel run and the plant run together

The crew needs a hotel and the passengers need an office or a plant, usually inside the same half hour. Both ride on one reservation, in one vehicle or two, with nobody waiting for a second car.

An audit team with Pelican cases and a week of kit fits a single Sprinter, aisle high enough to stand in. Anything larger becomes a coach, and the quote still covers the vehicle.

Why be driven

Four reasons to be driven to FWA

This is a long eastbound run to a small, well-run airport. The value is almost entirely in what happens before you reach the terminal, and in what happens to your car while you are away.

You are quoted a car, not a seat count

The vehicle and chauffeur are quoted by the hour, minimum stated up front, and the hours allow for weather and the slow stretches. Five colleagues on the same flight share one figure, not five seats.

Nobody leaves a car at the terminal

Fort Wayne asks that somebody stay with any vehicle beside the terminal. A chauffeur is that somebody, and there is no parking gate, plate reader or daily maximum on the other end.

The long leg becomes usable time

A run of this length is long enough to clear an inbox, read the deck you were meant to read, or sleep before an early departure out of Fort Wayne.

Uniformed chauffeurs since 2004

Executive Transportation has been taking these eastbound runs since 2004. Chauffeurs turn up uniformed and ahead of time, and they hold position rather than circling the building.

The fleet

Fleet for this run

Every Fort Wayne transfer is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, so the only question is which one your party and its luggage fit. Tell a coordinator both numbers and they will answer it.

A uniformed chauffeur comes with whichever of these you book. A stretch limousine seats 8 to 10 when an executive arrival should look like one.

Cities we connect to FWA

Where our Fort Wayne runs start

Executive Transportation drives to Fort Wayne International from across Central Illinois, in both directions, on one quote for the whole vehicle. These are the cities the Fort Wayne work comes from most, and each one has a page of its own.

Read each time below as an open-road run from the address to the FWA terminal. Give dispatch the flight rather than the drive: the pickup is built backward from the airline’s own arrival window, which is 90 minutes here and 120 on Allegiant.

Wherever the eastbound leg begins, the quote is written for the vehicle.

Park or be driven

Park at Fort Wayne, or be driven to it

Fort Wayne charges modestly and reads your license plate on the way in and out. The parking is not what makes this trip expensive. The odometer is.

  • Long term, per day$11The published maximum daily rate, after a free first 30 minutes and $2 for the first hour.
  • Short term, per day$16The closer lot, or $20 a day for valet. All three are card only: the airport does not take cash.
  • The drive itself$437.76A Springfield round trip of 576 miles at the IRS business rate of 76 cents a mile, before anything is parked.

Five days in long term on top of that mileage is about $493, and that is before the ten hours behind the wheel. See what an hourly quote is made up of.

Parking rates from fwairport.com, checked September 17, 2026. The 576 miles to Fort Wayne and back are costed at the irs.gov business rate for the second half of 2026, 76 cents a mile. Our own transfers are quoted by the hour with a minimum stated up front, so the only reliable figure is the one a coordinator gives you.

Airport to airport

Popular transfers between Fort Wayne and other airports

Fort Wayne sits within reach of several larger fields, which means the fare comparison is a live question on most trips. When the answer is somewhere else, we drive the gap in one vehicle.

Each card is the drive between Fort Wayne and the airport named, in either direction. Put the inbound and the outbound on the same reservation with both scheduled times, then call dispatch the moment one of them shifts.

Two airports, one reservation, and the vehicle is what the quote covers.

Fort Wayne questions

What people ask before booking an FWA car

The answers below use the Fort Wayne Airport Authority’s own published guidance, checked on fwairport.com in September 2026, plus the calibrated drive times we quote from.

How far ahead should I book a car service to Fort Wayne?

Executive Transportation prefers 72 hours’ notice for a Fort Wayne transfer, and closer to a week when the party needs a coach. Call anytime: short-notice trips depend on vehicle availability, and a run of this length books out earlier than a short one. Give a coordinator the flight and the headcount.

Call (217) 523-5466 or request a quote.

How early does Fort Wayne International want you there?

Fort Wayne publishes the airlines’ own guidance: arrive 90 minutes before a scheduled departure, and 120 minutes if you are flying Allegiant. Executive Transportation sets the pickup from that window plus the run itself, so tell a coordinator which airline you are on when you book.

Call (217) 523-5466 and we will work the pickup back from it.

Where does the chauffeur meet you at Fort Wayne International?

Executive Transportation has your chauffeur inside the Fort Wayne terminal at baggage claim, not outside it. The airport permits car services but publishes no separate livery lane, so your chauffeur is waiting at the belt with your name, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle. Nobody stands outside the terminal looking for a car.

See how airport transportation works.

What happens if my flight into Fort Wayne is late?

Executive Transportation wants the phone call the moment a delay shows on your screen. The booking holds the vehicle to the flight number and time you gave us, rather than to a schedule we watch, so your call is what changes it. Somebody is on the phone 24 hours a day, whatever hour the aircraft finally lands.

Call (217) 523-5466 to move a booked pickup.

How is the price for a Fort Wayne car service set?

Executive Transportation quotes the vehicle and chauffeur by the hour, with the minimum number of hours stated up front in writing. What moves the figure is how many hours the run east takes door to door, which vehicle the luggage needs, and whether the return is on the same booking. One quote covers the whole vehicle, so five colleagues are not buying five seats.

Request a Quote with your dates.

Which vehicle should a group book for Fort Wayne?

Executive Transportation runs executive sedans for two to three passengers, luxury SUVs for five to six, Sprinter vans for fourteen and coaches for parties up to thirty-five. On a run this long the luggage usually decides it, so tell a coordinator how many checked bags are traveling as well as how many people.

Compare the full fleet.

Do you pick up from private jets and charter flights at Fort Wayne?

Executive Transportation drives the general aviation side of Fort Wayne International as well as the passenger terminal. The airport puts its FBO terminal, Fort Wayne Aero Center, across from the main building, and we meet private and charter aircraft at that door, with crew and passengers on one booking.

Send the tail number when you book the chauffeur.

Can somebody wait in the car outside the terminal at Fort Wayne?

Only with a person in it. The airport states that for security reasons someone must remain with the car at all times while it is parked next to the terminal, and that a driver who wants to help you inside may park free in the short or long-term lot for 30 minutes. A chauffeur covers both halves of that.

Book the vehicle and the chauffeur together at (217) 523-5466.

Three things riders tell us made the difference on a Fort Wayne run.

  • You are quoted for the car, not the seat

Quoted by the hour with the minimum stated up front, and a coordinator plans the slow interstate into those hours. Five colleagues share one figure.

  • Nobody leaves a vehicle unattended

The airport asks that somebody stay with a car parked next to the terminal. Your chauffeur is that somebody, and there is no lot at the far end.

  • Dispatch answers day and night

A pre-dawn start east and a midnight landing back are the two ends of this run, and a person is on the line at both of them.
