Airport Car Service & Chauffeured Airport Transportation

One vehicle, one quote, and the terminal door instead of the parking shuttle.

An airport transfer is a private car with a uniformed chauffeur, booked against a named flight and quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, from your address to the terminal on your boarding pass. Business travelers, families and charter passengers ride the same service.

What is included

What an airport transfer with Executive Transportation includes

A transfer is quoted by the hour for the whole vehicle, with the minimum stated up front, so the only questions left are the direction, the terminal, and how many people share the car.

Departures: the pickup hour comes off your flight

Give a coordinator the airline, the flight number and the scheduled departure. The pickup hour is worked backward from your own carrier’s check-in and bag deadlines, then fixed on the reservation.

Arrivals: the flight number, then baggage claim

Book the return with the inbound flight number, and call dispatch if the airline moves it. Your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim, takes the luggage, and walks you out to the vehicle.

The quote: one figure for the whole vehicle

Transfers are quoted by the hour, with the minimum written into the quote, and one quote covers the whole vehicle, so six colleagues on one flight share it.

Terminal and door details are each airport’s own, and every airport page names the exact terminal and the exact door it verified, with the date it was checked. Airports revise those pages, so confirm anything time sensitive before you travel.

Private jets and charter

Private jet and charter pickups

Plenty of the flying we drive for never goes near an airline counter, and the general aviation side works on the same booking as the terminal.

  • 01

We collect at the operator, not the terminal

General aviation is a different building on a different road. The chauffeur parks at that lobby.

  • 02

Cases plane side where the ramp allows

Some operators let a vehicle onto the ramp, so luggage moves straight from the hold to the trunk.

  • 03

Both parties on the same booking

A charter arrival usually splits at the aircraft. One reservation covers both destinations.

Why be driven

How an airport transfer is quoted

There is no published rate on this site and no meter in the car. A transfer is quoted by the hour for the vehicle and the chauffeur, with the minimum stated up front in writing.

By the hour, with the minimum up front

The hours the run takes, door to door, decide the figure, and the minimum is in the written quote before you ride.

The vehicle is quoted once

A party shares one quote. Nobody buys a seat, which is what makes a group cheaper than a shuttle.

What sets the hours

Drive time, the size of the vehicle, the hour of the pickup, and any extra stop, with the traffic the route is known for planned in.

How to book it

Call dispatch or send the form. We prefer 72 hours’ notice, and short notice depends on availability.

Where we serve it

Airports we drive to and from

Eight fields carry most of the airport work: the two Chicago airports, Lambert, Indianapolis and the four Illinois regionals. Each card opens that airport’s own page, where the terminal doors and the baggage claim details are dated.

Every other field with a page of its own is on the airports hub, including the private flight fields.

Whichever field has the seat, the booking works the same way.

Popular runs

The airport runs booked most often

Six pairings account for a large share of the transfers we drive, and each has a page with the miles, the drive time and the road written out.

Read every drive time as a floor. Open miles hold their average, and a metro approach is the part that moves.

One booking covers the outbound leg and the one home.

What riders say

Travel managers book the same transfers with the billing and the recurring runs handled on one account manager’s desk: that is corporate airport transfers.

Airport transfer questions

What travelers ask before booking airport transportation

The answers below hold for every field we drive. The airport specific ones are on each airport page.

How much does airport car service cost?

Executive Transportation quotes an airport transfer by the hour for the whole vehicle, with the minimum stated up front, rather than posting a rate. The hours the run takes door to door, the vehicle and the pickup hour set the figure, and six people traveling together share one quote.

Send your dates or call (217) 523-5466.

How far in advance should I book airport transportation?

Executive Transportation prefers 72 hours’ notice for an airport transfer and about a week for a large group, but dispatch answers around the clock and short-notice trips depend on vehicle availability. Pre-dawn departures book out fastest, so call sooner for one of those.

Dispatch is at (217) 523-5466, any hour.

What happens if my flight is late or leaves early?

Give a coordinator the flight number and the scheduled arrival when you book, then call dispatch the moment the airline moves it. Somebody answers at three in the morning as well as three in the afternoon, and the chauffeur is told before you land.

Call (217) 523-5466 as soon as you know.

Where does the chauffeur pick up at the airport?

Inside, at baggage claim, never outside. Your chauffeur waits there with your name, takes the luggage and walks you out to the vehicle. At Indianapolis that walk ends at the Ground Transportation Center; at the regionals it is a few steps from the door.

Each airport page names its own doors.

Which airports do you serve?

Executive Transportation drives to and from O’Hare, Midway, St. Louis Lambert and Indianapolis, plus the Illinois regionals at Springfield, Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, Decatur, Champaign, Quincy and the Quad Cities, and the private flight fields around St. Louis and Chicago.

The full roster is on the airports hub.

Can a group share one vehicle to the airport?

Yes, and it is usually why a group calls. A sedan takes two or three passengers, an SUV five or six, a Sprinter van fourteen, and coaches twenty-two to thirty-five. Because the quote covers the vehicle, the fare is split rather than multiplied.

Compare the full fleet by capacity.

Do you pick up private jet and charter flights?

Yes. Charter passengers leave through a fixed base operator rather than an airline terminal, so the chauffeur waits at the FBO door rather than the airline terminal. Where the operator allows a vehicle on the ramp, cases move plane side. The flight crew and the passengers travel on the same booking.

Send the tail number when you book the chauffeur.

Is this a shared shuttle or a private car?

A private car. One party rides per vehicle, the route is your two addresses, and nobody else is collected on the way. That is the difference between a transfer and a shared van, and why a pickup can be set at four in the morning for one traveler.

Three things riders tell us made the difference.

  • The figure is written before you ride

An hourly quote for the whole vehicle, with the minimum stated up front, so there is nothing to settle in the car.

  • Your flight number sets the hour

A coordinator works backward through your carrier’s deadlines and the drive, then fixes the hour.

  • Dispatch is staffed through the night

Most airport work happens before dawn or late at night, and dispatch is staffed for both.
